Abstract

Strategi tata letak merupakan salah satu keputusan manajemen operasi yang sangat penting bagi daya saing perusahaan. Strategi tata letak yang baik akan mendukung lancarnya aktivitas suatu organisasi dalam jangka pendek dan akhirnya akan menambah nilai keunggulan organisasi dalam jangka panjang. Auto 2000 Bekasi Timur merupakan perusahaan yang beroperasi di bidang penjualan dan servis mobil merek Toyota. Perusahaan ini telah berdiri sejak 1994 dan terus berkembang sampai sekarang. Fasilitas bengkel yang dimiliki perusahaan belum pernah diubah tata letaknya hingga saat ini (2018). Padahal tingkat masuk kendaraan semakin bertambah tiap tahunnya. Hal ini dapat berakibat kepada terjadinya tumpukkan kendaraan di fasilitas parkir bengkel. Untuk menyikapi itu penulis melakukan penelitian untuk mencari alternatif tata letak baru tanpa mengubah fasilitas yang bersifat permanen. Caranya adalah dengan menukar departemen yang memiliki ruang yang sama. Penulis melakukan penelitian dengan terlebih dulu membuat penjabaran tentang operasi yang dilakukan di dalam fasilitas, frekuensi aliran perpindahan, dan beban perpindahan. Penulis menggunakan peranti lunak jenis Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique (CRAFT) untuk penelitian ini. Dengan CRAFT, pencarian akan lebih mudah karena menggunakan kemampuan berhitung komputer. Masukkan dari peranti lunak ini adalah aliran perpindahan antar departemen, biaya atau beban perpindahan, luas fasilitas dan departemen, serta bentuk awal fasilitas. Hasilnya komputer melakukan sembilan kali pertukaran dan mengurangi beban perpindahan sebanyak 1.35%. Kata kunci: manajemen operasi, tata letak, CRAFT, bengkel. Layout strategy is one of the most important operation management decisions for corporate competitiveness. A good layout strategy will support the smoothness of an organization's activities in the short term and ultimately add value to the organization's long-term advantages. Auto 2000 Bekasi Timur is a company that operates in sales and service of Toyota brand car. This company has been established since 1994 and continues to grow until now. Workshop facility layout has not been changed from first date they established until now (2018). Whereas the entry level of vehicles is increasing every year. This can result in the occurrence of stack of vehicles in the parking stall facility. Author do research to find new layout alternatives without changing the facilities that are permanent. The way is to swap departments that have the same space. The author conducts research by first making a description of the operations carried out in the facility, the frequency of displacement flow, and the load of displacement. The author uses Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Techniques (CRAFT) software for this research. With CRAFT, analytic will be easier because it uses the ability to count computers. Inputs for this software is material flow between departments, the cost or the load of displacements, the extent of facilities and departments, as well as the initial form of facilities. As a result, the computer did nine exchanges and reduced the displacement load by 1.35%. Keywords: operation management, layout, facility, CRAFT, workshop.
