Abstract

..... The development of the current electricity system has led to an increase in reliability and quality in the distribution of electrical energy, especially on Substation. One of the main equipment in the Substation is the medium circuit breaker (PMT). To improve reliability, PMT needs to be maintained periodically. Delayed maintenance will reduce the reliability value. Based on data breakdown of PMT 20 kV in 2016 and 2017 PT. PLN (Persero) APD Jabar, seen that the type of SF6 has a breakdown time of 350,75 hours and vacuum type of 169,3 hours within two years. Breakdown that occurs greatly affect the reliability of the PMT. Therefore, the authors are interested to examine the reliability of PMT using FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method. The results obtained from the research is the type of SF6 has a reliability value of 0,83 and vacuum of 0,92 in the range 0 to 1 with the calculation of lognormal distribution. Failures obtained through FMEA analysis and pareto diagrams based on the highest RPN value on the SF6 type tester are interruptor tubes of 441, and the highest RPN in vacuum type is 336 on gear boxes, with a total RPN of 1.651 and 1.234 respectively.
