Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul, “Analisis Kebutuhan Guru Kelompok Produktif SMK Program Keahlian Teknik Mesin di Kabupaten Purwakarta”. Latar belakang penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan mengenai tingginya kebutuhan guru produktif bidang keahlian teknologi dan rekayasa serta belum optimalnya pemerataan guru produktif SMK di Kabupaten Purwakarta, yang pada akhirnya akan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di kelas dan kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memproyeksikan kebutuhan guru kelompok produktif SMK teknik mesin di Kabupaten Purwakarta pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sampai dengan tahun ajaran 2022/2023 secara analisis, sehingga diketahui pemetaan kebutuhannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan perhitungan proyeksi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik proyeksi dengan rumus Angka Pertumbuhan Peserta Didik (ATSn) untuk memproyeksikan peserta didik dalam 5 tahun ke depan dan rumus kebutuhan guru produktif berdasarkan Peraturan Bersama Menteri No. 5 Tahun 2011. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa angka pertumbuhan peserta didik teknik mesin pada kompetensi teknik pemesinan cenderung bernilai negatif, sehingga proyeksi peserta didik cenderung mengalami penurunan. Sedangkan angka pertumbuhan peserta didik pada kompetensi teknik pemeliharaan mekanik industri menghasilkan angka yang beragam sehingga proyeksi bersifat fluktuatif. Meskipun demikian, kebutuhan guru produktif teknik mesin masih tinggi. Kekurangan guru produktif lebih banyak dialami oleh SMK Negeri daripada SMK Swasta. Setiap SMK menghasilkan pemetaan kebutuhan guru produktif yang beragam.;--- The title of this research is, “Productive Teachers Need Analysis of Mechanical Engineering Vocational High School in Purwakarta Regency”. The background of this research is based on the problem of the high demand of productive teachers in the field of technological and engineering and not optimal distribution of productive teachers vocational high school in Purwakarta Regency, that can affect the quality of learning in the classroom and the quality of the graduates. The aims of this research is to calculate the projection of productive teachers need analysis of mechanical engineering vocational high school in Purwakarta Regency, based on academic calendar, from 2018/2019 to 2022/2023. The method used is descriptive quantitative with the projection calculation. The technique of data analysis is projection, with the formula of The Growth Rate of Student (ATSn), to projecting the student in the 5 years and the formula of Peraturan Bersama Menteri 5/2011, to projecting the productive teachers need analysis. The result showed that the growth rate of mechanical engineering students on the competence of Teknik Pemesinan tend to be negative, so the projection of students tend to decrease. Moreover, the growth rate of mechanical engineering students on the competence of industrial mechanical maintenance techniques, produce diverse numbers, so that project is dynamic. Nevertheless, the productive teachers need still high. The number of teachers lack in Public Vocational High School is more than Private Vocational High School. Each vocational high school have a diverse of mapping productive teacher needs.
