Abstract

Tes keterampilan berpikir kritis bagi mahasiswa berbagai bidang keilmuan di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia belum tersedia. Tes yang tersedia hanya dapat digunakan mahasiswa berbasis ilmu sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis yang bersifat generik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subyek 304 mahasiswa dari FPMIPA, FPBS, FPIPS, FIP, FPOK, dan FPTK. Proses penelitian meliputi 1) penetapan konstruk teoritik tes; 2) penyusunan kisi-kisi tes; 3) pengembangan item tes; 4) validasi soal dan perbaikan item; 5) uji coba instrumen; 6) uji parameter tes; dan 7) penyusunan manual tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan aplikasi Winsteps dalam pendekatan RASCH Model yang menunjukkan reliabilitas dalam kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan soal tes memiliki tingkat kesulitan sedang dan daya beda yang baik pada 23 soal. Tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa UPI berada pada kategori rendah dengan aspek interpretasi, inferensi, dan regulasi diri pada kategori rendah. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu mengujikan validitas eksternal dan validitas prediktor tes keterampilan berpikir kritis.;--- The critical thinking skills test for students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia not yet available for various fields of science. The tests are available only be used to students basic of science. This study aims to develop a test of critical thinking skills for students that are generic. This study used a quantitative approach with 304 students from FPMIPA, FPBS, FPIPS, FIP, FPOK, and FPTK. The research process includes 1) determining the construct of theoretical tests; 2) constructing the blue print of the test; 3) developing the test items; 4) validating the problem and the item improvement; 5) testing the instrument; 6) examining of parameter test; and 7) composing of the test manual. The data analysis was being conducted using Winsteps application in Rasch Model approach which showed reliability in medium category. The results indicated that the test had a medium difficulty level and good category of the difference power on 23 questions. The level of critical thinking skills of UPI students is in the low category with the interpretation, inference, and self-regulation aspects on the low category. The recommendations for further research are to test the external validity and the predictors validity of critical thinking skills test.
