Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seperti apa dan bagaimana perbedaan kompetensi pedagogik guru TK di Wilayah Tegallega pada tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 berdasarkan kualifikasi akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian ex post facto dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru-guru TK di Wilayah Tegallega sebanyak 131 orang yang terpilih secara random setelah menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dari populasi sebanyak 195 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi pedagogik guru TK di Wilayah Tegallega pada tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 secara keseluruhan berada pada kriteria sangat tinggi. Kemudian ada perbedaan kompetensi pedagogik antara guru dengan kualifikasi akademik sarjana PG-PAUD dengan guru dengan kualifikasi akademik sarjana non PG-PAUD. Perbedaan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan perhitungan uji statistik non parametrik uji mann- whitney, yaitu nilai probabilitas 0,004 < 0,05. Rata-rata skor kompetensi pedagogik guru TK dengan kualifikasi akademik sarjana PG-PAUD lebih tinggi yaitu 4,7 sedangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru TK dengan kualifikasi akademik sarjana non PG-PAUD sebesar 4,58. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka implikasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya agar mengembangkan instrumen penelitian seperti tes, wawancara atau observasi dan juga implikasi untuk guru agar berupaya mengikuti program profesi guru dan melakukan studi lanjutan yang relevan dengan sistem pendidikan anak usia dini. This study aims to determine what and how the differences in pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachers in the Tegallega Region in the 2018/2019 academic year are based on academic qualifications. This study uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto research design with the subject of research, namely TK teachers in Tegallega Region as many as 131 people who were selected randomly after using simple random sampling technique from a population of 195 people. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire. The results of the study show that the pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachers in Tegallega in the 2018/2019 academic year as a whole is at very high criteria. Then there are differences in pedagogic competence between teachers with undergraduate academic qualifications PG-PAUD with teachers with undergraduate academic qualifications non PG-PAUD. This difference is indicated by the calculation of the non-parametric statistical test of the Mann-Whitney test, which is a probability value of 0.004 <of 0.05. The average pedagogical competency score of kindergarten teachers with undergraduate academic qualifications of PG-PAUD is higher, namely 4.7 while pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachers with undergraduate academic qualifications of non PG-PAUD is 4.58. Based on the results of the study, the implications for future researchers are to develop research instruments such as tests, interviews or observations and also the implications for teachers to try to follow the teacher professional program and conduct further studies relevant to the early childhood education system.
