Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, koneksi matematis, dan pencapain self-confidence antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Problem Posing tipe Within-Solution (PBLPPWS), Problem Based Learning (PBL), dan pembelajaran konvensional, dan 2) menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan koneksi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran PBLPPWS berdasarkan KAM (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi ekperimen dengan populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Mataram. Sampel terdiri dari tiga kelas yaitu kelas ekperimen I yang memperoleh pembelajaran PBLPPWS, kelas eksperimen II yang memperoleh pembelajaran PBL dan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan koneksi matematis, serta skala sikap self-confidence. Data yang dianalisis adalah data pretes, postes, n-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis dan koneksi matematis, serta data posrespon skala sikap self-confidence. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Kruskall-Wallis dan tes Multiple Comparison. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran PBLPWS, PBL, dan konvensional, yaitu tidak ada perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PBLPPWS dengan PBL dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PBLPPWS dan PBL lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional, 2) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PBLPPWS bila ditinjau berdasarkan KAM tinggi, sedang, rendah, yaitu peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan KAM tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa dengan KAM sedang dan rendah, serta tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang signifikan antara siswa dengan KAM sedang dan rendah, 3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran PBLPPWS, PBL, dan konvensional, yaitu peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PBLPPWS lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran PBL dan konvensional dan tidak ada perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis yang signifikan antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PBL dengan konvensional, 4) Tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PBLPPWS bila ditinjau berdasarkan KAM tinggi, sedang, rendah, 5) Tidak terdapat perbedaan pencapaian self-confidence siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran PBLPWS, PBL, dan konvensional.-- This research was aimed to 1) analyze the difference of critical thinking and mathematical connection enhancement and self confidence attainment between student who studied using Problem Based Learning with Problem Posing Within Solution (PBLPPWS), Problem Based Learning (PBL), and standard learning (SL), and 2) analyze the difference of critical thinking and mathematical connection enhancement between student who studied using PBLPPWS according to mathematical prior knowledge (high, medium, and low). This research was quasi-experimental research. The population of this research was all the student of grade eleventh in one of senior high school in Mataram City. Three classes was taken as the sample of this research, experiment I class received PBLPPWS, experiment class II received PBL and control class received SL. The instrument consisted of mathematical critical thinking and mathematical connection ability test, and questionnaire of self confidence. The data was analyzed using Kruskall-Wallis test and Multiple Comparison test. The results of this research were: 1) there are significance difference of critical thinking enhancement between student who studied using PBLPPWS, PBL and SL, such as there are no significance difference of critical thinking enhancement between student who studied using PBLPPWS and PBL and student who studied using those two models got higher critical thinking enhancement than student who studied using SL, 2) according to mathematical prior knowledge (high, medium, and low), there are significance difference of critical thinking enhancement among student who studied using PBLPPWS , such as the enhancement of critical thinking for student who had high mathematical prior knowledge was higher than student who had medium mathematical prior knowledge and there are no significance difference of critical thinking enhancement between student who had medium and low mathematical prior knowledge, 3) there are significance difference of mathematical connection enhancement between student who studied using PBLPPWS, PBL and SL, such as the critical thinking enhancement of student who studied using PBLPPWS was higher than student who studied using PBL and there are no significance difference of mathematical connection enhancement between student who studied using PBL and SL, 4) there are no significance difference of mathematical connection enhancement between student who studied using PBLPPWS based on student’s mathematical prior knowledge, 5) there are no significance difference of self confidence attainment between student who studied using PBLPPWS, PBL, and SL.
