Abstract

Proses perancangan ulang sistem Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU) dari lampu High Pressure Sodium (HPS) menjadi Light Emitting Diode (LED) sering kali mengalami kesalahan. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan PJU tidak efisien baik dalam segi penggunaan energi listrik maupun pemerataan cahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan ulang PJU yang masih menggunakan lampu HPS menjadi LED dengan menggunakan pendekatan photometric. Proses simulasi perancangan ulang dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak DIALux Evo 8.1. Studi dilakukan pada sebuah ruas jalan di Kota Bandung yang memiliki panjang 598 m, lebar 15 m, dan jumlah tiang PJU sebanyak 13 unit. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi perancangan ulang, penggunaan LED lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan lampu HPS. Kata kunci: Penerangan jalan umum, efisiensi energi, LED, HPS, photometric, DIALux The process of redesigning street lighting from High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps to Light Emitting Diode (LED) often experiences errors, this causes inefficient street lighting in the use of electrical energy and even distribution of light. This research aims to process the redesign of street lighting from High Pressure Sodium (HPS) lamps to LED lights using photometric approach. The redesign process using software DIALux Evo 8.1. The study conducted on a road in Kota Bandung, have 598 meters length, 15 meters width, and 13 poles. Based on simulation results, LEDs are more efficient than HPS lamps in terms of both energy use and the level of illumination.
