Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menguji dan menemukan pengaruh Model Bermain Peran (Role Playing) Berbantuan Multimedia dalam Pembelajaran PPKn terhadap Keterampilan Kewarganegaraan (civic skills) peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh teori “pengajaran sosial” (Joyce), “pembelajaran kooperatif (cooperative learning)” (Joyce), “membentuk makna” (Glasersfeld), “konstruktivisme” Piaget dan Vygotsky, “esensi bermain peran (role playing)” (Joyce), “konsep multimedia interaktif” (Komalasari dan Saripudin), konsep “kompetensi kewarganegaraan (civic competences)” (Branson), “kajian citizenship education” (Cogan). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan tes. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMK Telkom Bandung, sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X Jurusan Multimedia (MM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Pertama, secara keseluruhan pengalaman reflektif peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran PPKn yang menggunakan model bermain peran (role playing) dengan berbantuan mutimedia sangat baik. Kedua, terdapat perbedaan keterampilan kewarganegaraan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Ketiga, terdapat perbedaan keterampilan intelektual antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Keempat, terdapat perbedaan keterampilan partisipasi antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model bermain peran (role playing) berbantuan multimedia dalam pembelajaran PPKn memberikan makna kepada peserta didik dalam mempersiapkan warga negara muda untuk berperan aktif di masyarakat, menggali nilai sosial dan juga berintikan value education. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa penerapan model bermain peran (role playing) berbantuan multimedia berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kewarganegaraan (civic skills) peserta didik.;--This study aimed to describe, test, and found the effect of a Role Playing Assisted Multimedia in Civic Education on teaching civic skills of students. This study based on the theory of "social model teaching" (Joyce), "cooperative learning" (Joyce), "form meaning" (Glasersfeld), "constructivisme curiosity" Piaget and Vygotsky, "the essence of role playing" (Joyce), "concept interactive multimedia" (Komalasari and Saripudin), the concept of "civic competences" (Branson), "the study of citizenship education" (Cogan). This research process used a quantitative approach with Quasi-Experimental method. Data collection tool is questionnaire and tests. The population of this research was the students of SMK Telkom Bandung, samples of this study was the students of class X Department of Multimedia (MM). The results showed: First, the overall impact to the civic education learning a using of Role Playing assisted Multimedia very good. Second, there were differences between the experimental class citizenship skills with the control class. Third, there was a difference between the experimental class intellectual skills with the control class. Fourth, there was a difference between the experimental class participation skills with the control class. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the integration model of role playing with multimedia in civic education learning gave meaning to the learner in preparing young citizens to play an active role in society, social values, and also core value education. The study concluded was the application role playing assisted multimedia significant in improving of civic skills learners.
