Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas VB SDN 1 Palimanan Timur dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis iklan yang masih rendah pada unsur kalimat iklan. Untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menulis iklan, maka dilakukan upaya peningkatan dengan menerapkan strategi think talk write dan teknik peer correction. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan desain penelitian model dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan catatan lapangan dengan instrumen pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, soal tes hasil belajar, dan kartu catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, data yang diperoleh pada siklus I, perencanaan kinerja guru mencapai 91%, siklus II mencapai 94%, dan siklus III mencapai 100%. Pelaksanaan kinerja guru pada siklus I mencapai 89%, siklus II mencapai 94%, dan siklus III mencapai 100%. Aktivitas siswa pada penelitian ini menilai aspek disiplin, keaktifan, dan kerja sama, pada siklus I siswa yang mendapat kriteria baik sekali mencapai 68% siswa, siklus II mencapai 80% siswa, dan siklus III mencapai 92% siswa. Hasil belajar siswa pada penelitian ini menilai iklan yang sesuai dengan unsur iklan, bahasa iklan dan pilihan kata, serta gambar iklan, pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 60% siswa, siklus II mencapai 76% siswa, dan siklus III mencapai 92% siswa yang tuntas. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran menulis iklan, strategi think talk write, teknik peer correction. The research conducted in VB class of East Palimanan 1 Elementary School was motivated by the conditions in the learning of advertisements writing skills that were still low on the elements of the advertisement sentence. To overcome the difficulties of students in writing advertisements, an increase is made by applying the think talk write strategies and peer correction techniques. This research was conducted using the class action research method (CAR), with a research design model from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection carried out in three cycles. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, learning outcomes tests, and field notes with used instruments interview guideline, observation guidelines, learning outcomes test questions, and field note cards. Based on the research that has been done, data obtained in the first cycle, teacher performance planning reached 91%, the second cycle 94%, and the third cycle 100%. The implementation of teacher performance in the first cycle reached 89%, the second cycle 94%, and the third cycle 100%. Student activities by assessed aspects of discipline, activeness, and collaboration, in the first cycle students who got the criteria were very good reached 68% students, the second cycle 80% students, and the third cycle 92% students. Student learning outcomes in this study assessed advertisements that were in accordance with the elements of advertisement, advertisement language and choice of words, advertisement images, in the first cycle students completed 60% students, the second cycle 76% students, and the third cycle 92% students who complete.
