Abstract

Tesis model pembelajaran Kesenian Tembang Batanghari sembilan di SMP Negeri 1 Madang Suku III bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan desain konsep model konstruktivistik pada Kesenian Tembang Batanghari Sembilan dan mengetahui tingkat pemahaman siswa. Pembelajaran Kesenian Tembang Batanghari Sembilan sangat kurang penerapannya dalam lingkungan sekolah terutama SMP sehingga penelitian ini sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan sebagai upaya melestarikan kesenian tradisional yang berasal dari Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun desain eksperimennya adalah Pre-ekspermen design (one group pretest postest design) yang hanya menggunakan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Secara spesifik pengumpulan data dibantu teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, tes praktik, dan tes soal. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan analisis N-Gain. Temuan penelitian desain konsep pembelajarannya dilaksanakan dalam enam langkah-langkah yaitu situasi, pengelompokan, pengaitan, pertanyaan, eksibisi, dan refleksi yang diterapkan pada enam tahapan penelitian yaitu pretest, treatment sebanyak empat pertemuan, dan postest, dengan materi pokok yaitu mengapresisasi Kesenian Tembang Batanghari Sembilan, pemahaman makna dan struktur syair serta mengetahui ritme dan melodi Kesenian Tembang Batanghari Sembilan, berlatih menyanyikan Kesenian Tembang Batanghari Sembilan, dan menampilkan hasil pembelajaran struktur syair, pola ritme, dan melodi Kesenian Tembang Batanghari Sembilan. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah skor pretset dengan rata-rata 7,70 dan meningkat pada hasil skor postest dengan rata-rata 12,07. Peningkatan skor tersebut sebesar 4,37 dengan rata-rata hasil perhitungan N-gain sebesar 0,70 dengan kategori sedang. ;---Thesis of Tembang Batanghari Sembilan Art Learning model at SMP Negeri 1 Madang Suku III aims to implement the constructivistic model concept design on Batanghari Sembilan Artistry and to know the level of students' understanding. Tembang Batanghari Sembilan Arts Learning is very lack of application in the school environment, especially junior high school so that this research is very important to be implemented as an effort to preserve the traditional arts originating from South Sumatra. The method used in this research is experimental method through quantitative approach. The experimental design is the Pre-ekspermen design (one group pretest postest design) which uses only one class as an experimental class. Specifically, data collection is assisted by observation techniques, interviews, documentation, practical tests, and test questions. Processing and data analysis were performed by normality test, homogeneity test, and N-Gain analysis. The research findings of the concept of learning design are carried out in six steps, namely situation, grouping, attribution, question, exhibition, and reflection which is applied in six stages of research, pretest, treatment of four meetings, and posttest, with the main subject that is to appreciate Tembang Batanghari Sembang , understanding the meaning and structure of poetry and knowing the rhythm and melodies of Tembang Batanghari Sembilan art, practicing singing Tembang Batanghari Sembilan Song, and displaying the learning result of poetry structure, rhythm pattern, and melodic of Tembang Batanghari Sembilan Art. The results obtained were the pretest score with an average of 7.70 and increased on the postest score score with an average of 12.07. Increased score of 4.37 with average N-gain calculation results of 0.70 with the category of being.
