Abstract

Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dan saintifik berbantuan adobe flash CS5 dijadikan solusi alternatif untuk memberikan pengaruh dan kontribusi terhadap tujuan kognitif dan afektif siswa, yaitu kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh, memperoleh perbandingan di antara kedua pendekatannya, serta mengetahui hubungan dari kedua tujuannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasinya, seluruh siswa kelas II se-Kecamatan Sumedang Utara, Kabupaten Sumedang. Siswa kelas II di kelas eksperimen I (SDN Panyingkiran III) dan di kelas eksperimen II (SDN Sukamaju) sebagai sampel penelitiannya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) Pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan kedua pendekatan tersebut memberikan pengaruh terhadap tujuan kognitif dan afektif siswa pada materi pecahan. 2) Perbedaannya, pendekatan RME berbantuan adobe flash CS5 paling efektif dalam meningkatkan tujuan kognitif pada indikator kemampuan memberikan contoh dan counter example dari konsep yang telah dipelajari, sedangkan tujuan afektifnya pada indikator kegigihan dalam berupaya menyelesaikan tugas. 3) Pendekatan saintifik berbantuan adobe flash CS5 paling efektif dalam meningkatkan tujuan kognitif pada indikator menerapkan konsep secara algoritma, sedangkan tujuan afektifnya pada indikator kuatnya keyakinan melaksanakan tugas. 4) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh di antara perbandingan pembelajaran matematika melalui kedua pendekatan tersebut terhadap kedua tujuannya. 5) Terdapat hubungan positif di antara kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dan self-efficacy siswa dengan menggunakan kedua pendekatan tersebut. Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), Pendekatan Saintifik, Adobe Flash CS5, Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis, dan Self-Efficacy. The Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) and a scientific approach with adobe flash CS5 be an alternative solution to give influence and contribution to be cognitive and affective goals for student’s those are mathematics comprehention ability and self-efficacy. This research aims to know the influence, get a comparison between both approaches, and knowing the correlation of these two goals. The research method used true experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The population is all second grade students in Sumedang. The second grade student’s in the experimental class I (Panyingkiran III Elementary School) and class II (Sukamaju Elementary School) as the research samples. The results of this research are: 1) Learning mathematics using both approaches have an influence on student’s cognitive and affective goals on fraction subject matter. 2) The difference is that RME approach with adobe flash CS5 is most effective in increasing cognitive goals in the ability indicators to provide and counter examples from the concepts that have been studied, while the affective goals are indicator of persistence in trying to complete the task. 3) The scientific approach with adobe flash CS5 is most effective in improving cognitive goals in indicators applying algorithmic concepts, while the affective goals are indicators of the strength of confidence in carrying out the task. 4) There are differences in the influence between the comparison of mathematics learning through both approaches and the goals. 5) There is a positive correlation between the mathematics comprehention ability and students self-efficacy in learning mathematics using these approaches.
