Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui konsep dari gagasan komposer dalam membuat karya komposisi musik dengan menggunakan kreatifitasnya dan komposisi bunyi antara gerak dengan musik yang terdapat di dalam video mapping ”Isola Gama part II”. Video mapping tersebut merupakan garapan karya dari komunitas UVISUAL yang menjadi salah satu konten hiburan di dalam acara festival Djamoe 6. Festival Djamoe 6 ini diselenggarakan selama 2 tahun sekali di kampus Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Bandung yang dipanitiai oleh mahasiswa dan mahasiswi aktif fakultas FPSD UPI. Subjek penelitian ini ialah komposer musik yang menggarap komposisi musik untuk video mapping tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan analisis dan kemudian mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan. Data penelitian yang didapat merupakan data pengamatan hasil observasi, data hasil wawancara dengan narasumber dan data-data atau dokumen lainnya yang terkait. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh ialah ide dan gagasan komposer dalam menggarap karya komposisi musik untuk video mapping dalam setiap alur ceritanya, dan komposisi bunyi yang terjalin antara musik dengan gerak pada suasana yang tergambar dalam visual. Kata Kunci : Kreativitas, Komposisi, Video Mapping, Isola Gama The purpose of this study was to determine the concept of the idea of the composer in making the work of a musical composition by using creativity and the relationship of sound between the movement of the music featured in the video mapping "Isola Gama part II". Video mapping is a work from UVISUAL community that became one of the entertainment content at the Djamoe 6 festival. Djamoe Festival 6 is held for 2 years once at campus of the University of Education Indonesia (UPI) Bandung and facilitated by the students active in the faculty of FPSD UPI. The subject in this research is the music composer who worked on the musical composition for the video mapping. The method in this research is used descriptive research of analysis with qualitative approach. So in this study, researchers conducted the data analysis and then describe the results of the research found. The research data obtained is observation and result data , result of interview with the composer and data or other related document. The result of the research is the idea of composer in working the composition of music for video mapping in each scene and storyline, and the compotition sound of relationship between music and motion in the atmosphere depicted in visual.
