Abstract

Organisasi sadar pentingnya perilaku kewargaan organisasi merupakan salah satu factor keberhasilan dalam membantu pengembangan organisasi, hal tersebut menjadi prioritas tinggi suati organisasi dalam menyeleksi pegawai. Pengembangan organisasi menjadi tantangan yang dihadapi pemimpin dalam menciptakan perilaku kewargaan organisasi pada pegawai untuk melaksanakan tugasnya dengan sukarela dan mempunyai komitmen serta loyalitas tinggi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Salah satu organisasi yang dijadikan objek penelitian perilaku kewargaan organisasi adalah Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat di Bandung. Permasalahan yang ada di dalam organisasi akan mengahambat tujuan organisasi, maka organisasi perlu menciptakan strategi untuk meningkatkan perilaku kewargaan organisasi dengan upaya memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran kecerdasan emosional, (2) mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja, (3) mengetahui gambaran perilaku kewargaan organisasi, (4) mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi, dan (5) mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat di Bandung. Variabel (X1) dalam penelitian ini adalah kecerdasan emosional, variabel (X2) kepuasan kerja, dan variabel (Y) adalah perilaku kewargaan organisasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu sampel tidak jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 103 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 22.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran kecerdasan emosional dalam kategori baik, gambaran kepuasan kerja dalam kategori tinggi, gambaran perilaku kewargaan organisasi dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasill temuan, menunjukkan variabel kecerdasan emosional (X1) dan kepuasan kerja (X2) memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Y). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, rekomendasi dari penulis agar organisasi lebih meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja para pegawai untuk mencapai perilaku kewargaan organisasi dalam kategori sangat baik. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Kepuasan Kerja, Perilaku Kewargaan Organisasi The organizational awareness on the organizational citizenship behavior is one of the key factors in developing the organization. It becomes the main priority of one organization in selecting the employees. Organization development becomes a challenge faced by the leader in creating a organizational citizenship behavior on the employees to do their job voluntarily and have high commitment and loyalty to reach the organization’s goals. One of the organizations which became the research object on the organizational citizenship behavior was West Java Regional Civil Service Agency in Bandung. The problems existed in an organization will hinder the organization’s goals hence the organization needs to create strategies that can increase the organizational citizenship behavior by improving and increasing the emotional intelligence and job satisfaction within the organization. This research was aimed at (1) portraying the emotional intelligence, (2) portraying the job satisfaction, (3) portraying the organizational citizenship behavior, (4) finding out the influence of emotional intelligence and job satisfaction towards the organizational citizenship behavior, and (5) finding out the influence of emotional intelligence towards the organizational citizenship behavior. The object becoming the analysis unit of this research was West Java Regional Civil Service Agency in Bandung. The (X1) variable in this research was emotional intelligence, the (X2) variable was job satisfaction, and the (Y) variable was the organizational citizenship behavior. A descriptive, verificative study was employed as the research design of the study. The method used in this study was explanatory survey by conducting sample technique, which was probability sampling involving 103 respondents. The data analysis employed was multiple regression analysis by using computer software Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 22.0 for windows. The research findings showed that the emotional intelligence was in good category, the job satisfaction was in high category, and the organizational citizenship behavior was in good category. Based on the result, it was revealed that the emotional intelligence (X1) variable and job satisfaction (X2) variable had a positive influence on the organizational citizenship behavior (Y). Based on these research findings, it is suggested that the organization increases the emotional intelligence and the job satisfaction of their employees, so that the organizational citizenship behavior can be in the very good category.
