Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tanggung jawab dalam belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tanggung jawab dalam belajar siswa SD yang belum tertanam dengan baik. Beberapa diantaranya ditemukan siswa yang membolos sekolah, mengganggu teman saat belajar, tidak mengerjakan PR sesuai aturan, sibuk sendiri ketika guru menyampaikan pembelajaran dan tidak terlibat ketika belajar secara kelompok. Konsekuensinya terhadap siswa yang bersangkutan, ia akan memiliki hasil belajar yang kurang maksimal, karena tugas dan kewajiban belajarnya saja tidak dapat diselesaikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD di salah satu SD negeri di Kota Bandung. Menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 60 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket yang dikembangkan sendiri memuhi validitas dan reliabilitas serta studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara tanggung jawab dalam belajar dengan hasil belajar dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,283 dan signifikan pada 0,029. Bila dipersentasekan hanya 8% nilai kontribusinya sehingga tergolong ke dalam kategori rendah. Disarankan guru dapat menanamkan dan mengembangkan tanggung jawab dalam belajar pada siswa melalui proses pembelajaran dengan memerhatikan aspek hasil kerja yang bermutu, pengikatan diri pada tugas, keterikatan sosial, kemandirian, kesediaan menanggung risiko dan memiliki prinsip hidup. Kata Kunci: Tanggung jawab dalam belajar, hasil belajar, siswa SD ------ The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between responsibiliy in learning with learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. This is motivated by responsibility in learning of elementary school students who have not been well-embedded. Some of them were found skipped the class, disturbed their friends while study, did not do the homework according to the rules, busy themselves while teachers delivers something and not participated in a group learning. It has a consequence for that students, so they will get the minimum level of learning outcomes because they can not even finish their task. This research is using quantitative research method with correlational technique. The population of this research is fifth grade students of elementary school in one of the public elementary schools in Bandung city. Using a saturation sampling technique, the total of samples in this research is 60 students. The instrument of this research is using questionnaire that were made and tested by validity and reliability and document study. The result of this research show there is a correlation between responsibility in learning with learning outcomes at the correlation coefficient of 0,283 and significant at 0,029. That means the contribution is only 8%, so it’s belong to the low category. Therefore, this research suggest the teachers to be able to grow and develop responsibility through the learning process by concern the aspects, such as quality of work, self-attachment to tasks, social interaction, independency, willingness to take the risk and having a principle of life.
