Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya kejanggalan dalam lulusan SMK, yang tidak sejalan dengan apa yang diharapkan sebagaimana mestinya pendidikan di SMK. Penulis beranggapan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan di sekolah dengan kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan yang diperlukan di industri otomotif, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan di sekolah dengan kompetensi kerja di industri otomotif dan mengatahui kekurangan kompetensi tersebut. Penelitian ini yaitu bersifat penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi yang didapat dari tempat penelitian yaitu SMKN 6 Bandung dan Toyota Astra Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta. Hasil dari penelitian ini kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan sudah sesuai dengan kompetensi kerja kelistrikan kendaraan ringan yang dibutuhkan oleh industri otomotif dengan hasil rasio ketepatan 0.85, akan tetapi masih belum bisa dikatakan sebagai dokumen yang baik karena ada beberapa kompetensi kerja industri otomotif yang belum terpenuhi oleh kompetensi di sekolah.;-- The problem in this research is the existence of irregularities in SMK graduates, which is not in line with what is expected as appropriate education in vocational school. The authors assume a mismatch between the competence of light electric vehicle work in schools with the competence of light electric vehicle work required in the automotive industry, therefore this study aims to describe mapping the relevance of the competence of light electric vehicle work in schools with work competence in the automotive industry. This research is descriptive research. Data collection techniques used in this study are observations and documentation obtained from the research site of SMKN 6 Bandung and Toyota Astra Auto 2000 Soekarno Hatta. The result of this research competence of light electric vehicle work is in accordance with the competence of light electric vehicle work required by automotive industry with the precision 0.85, but still can not be said a good document because there are some automotive industry work competencies that have not been fulfilled by work competence in school.
