Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi di dalamkelas X DKV 3 SMKN 14 Bandung, khususnya pada pembelajaran menulis teks biografi. Peneliti mengupayakan adanya peningkatan terhadap aktivitas belajar menulis teks biografi dengan menggunakan metode Sugestopedia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode sugestopedia pada pembelajaran menulis teks biografi efisien dan efektif untuk digunakan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil rata-rata nilai siswa. Nilai siswa padasiklus I adalah 70,2 dengan kategori Cukup (C), dan pada siklus II 86,85 dengan kategori Sangat baik (A). Tidak hanya dilihat dari nilai tes siswa, nilai keaktifan siswa pada saat pembelajaran pun mengalami peningkatan, yaitu pada siklus I siswa yang berkategori Baik (B) dengan skor rata-rata 8.35, kategori Cukup (C) dengan skor 7,62, dan kategori kurang (D) dengans kor rata-rata 7. Sedangkan pada siklus II siswa dengan kategori Baik (B) dengan rata-rata 10,415, kategoriCukup (C) 11,79, dankategoriKurang (D) 0,745. Hasil diatas menandakan adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswadan guru secara signifikan. Dengan metodesugestopedia siswa dapat belajar dengan nyaman dan rileks. Hal tersebut mampu mengubah anggapan siswa mengenai kesulitan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks biografi.;--This research was conducted based on the problems that occurred in the class X DKV 3 SMKN 14 Bandung, especially on learning to write biographical text. Researchers seek to improve the activity of learning to write biographical text using Sugestopedia method. This research uses classroom action research method (PTK) with research design model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This study consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of suggestive method on learning biography text writing efficient and effective to use. This is evidenced by the increase in the average value of students. Student score in cycle I is 70.2 with Enough category (C), and on cycle II 86,85 with Excellent category (A). Not only seen from the value of student tests, the value of students' activity at the time of learning also experienced an increase, ie in the first cycle of students who categorized Good (B) with an average score of 8.35, Enough category (C) with a score of 7.62, and less categories (D) with an average score of 7. While on the second cycle of students with Good category (B) with an average of 10.415, Enough category (C) 11.79, and Less (D) 0.745. The above results indicate a significant increase in student and teacher activity. With the suggestion method students can learn comfortably and relax. It is able to change students' assumptions about the difficulty in learning to write biographical texts.
