Abstract

Tingginya angka kemiskinan di kawasan wisata Jayagiri-Lembang, memungkinkan diperlukannya pendidikan dan pembelajaran bagi peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui karakteristik masyarakat tidak mampu di Desa Jayagiri, mengetahui tingkat keterampilan yang dimiliki, serta mengetahui, menganalisis pelaksanaan dan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan bagi masyarakat tidak mampu di Desa Jayagiri. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Jayagiri Kecamatan Lembang yang merupakan salah satu Desa Wisata dengan jumlah penduduk miskin yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini: 1) Karakteristik masyarakat Desa Jayagiri bermata pencaharian sebagai petani, buruh, wiraswasta hingga belum bekerja. Mereka berpendidikan rendah tamat/tidak tamat SD, SMP dan SMA. Segi kekerabatan, menganut sistem bilateral dan mengenal pancakaki. Memiliki kebiasaan berhutang kepada rentenir dan gaya hidup tinggi, terbuka dan senang bersosialisasi dengan pendatang; 2) Sebagian besar memiliki keterampilan yang berhubungan dengan kekuatan fisik, otot, tangan seperti, menggunting, mengelem, menggergaji, menjahit ;3) Pembelajaran yang diberikan, dipertimbangan berdasarkan karakteristik peserta didik dan lingkungan. Materi bersifat aplikatif, mudah dan menarik. Pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan andragogi partisipatif dengan metode demonstrasi, ceramah, motivasi, peniruan dan pendampingan. Evaluasi dilihat dari hasil karya yang dibuat. Masyarakat diberikan penguatan pasca pembelajaran dengan ditentukannya koordinator untuk memantau dan mendampingi peserta didik, dan penguatan kewirausahaan. Dari adanya pembelajaran ini, memberi dampak positif bagi masyarakat seperti meningkatnya kemampuan membuat benda kerajinan, mampu memanfaatkan dan mengolah bahan disekitar serta memanfaatkan waktu luang yang yang dimiliki.;---The high rate of poverty in Jayagiri-Lembang as a tourism area, enabling the need for education and learning for the improvement of society's ability. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of the poor people in Jayagiri Village, to know the skill level, to know and to analyze the implementation and the result of skills learning for the poor people in Jayagiri Village. The method used is case study method with qualitative approach. Technique of collecting data through observation, interview and documentation study. Research location in Jayagiri Village Lembang District which is one of Tourism Village with high number of poor people. The result of this research are: 1) Characteristic of Jayagiri society to work as farmer, laborer, entrepreneur and unemployment. They have low education grapduated / did not finish elementary, junior and senior high school. In terms of kinship, they embrace the bilateral system and know pancakaki. Having a habit of being owed to loan sharks and high lifestyle, open to socialize with migrants; 2) Most of them have skills related to physical strength, muscle, hand like, cutting, gluing, sawing, sewing, 3) Learning given and considered based on the characteristics of learners and the environment. The material is applicative, easy and interesting. Learning uses a participative andragogic approach with demonstration methods, lectures methods, motivations methods, imitation and mentoring. Evaluation seen from the product results. The society is given post learning reinforcement by the detemined of coordinator to monitor and assist the students, and entrepreneurship reinforcement. From this learning, are giving positive impact for the society such as the increasing ability to make handicraft, able to utilize and process the materials around and utilize the free time that is owned.
