Abstract

ABSTRAK Mandala Pratama Subki. 150718. " Analisis Tata Letak Gudang Barang Jadi Menggunakan Metode Shared Storage Untuk Meningkatkan Efektivitas Sistem Penyimpanan Gudang (Studi Kasus Di PT. Genta Trikarya Bandung)" Dibawah bimbingan Dr. Chairul Furqon, S.Sos, M.M. dan Dr. Rofi Rofaida, SP, M.Si. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah yaitu belum efektifnya sistem penyimpanan di gudang barang jadi PT Genta Trikarya Bandung di karenakan belum di terapkannya sistem penyimpanan yang sesuai dengan kondisi gudang, sehingga selama ini peletakan barang di lakukan secara acak dan hanya di simpan berdasarkan urutan menuju proses pengiriman. Kondisi tersebut jelas membuat gudang menjadi tidak tertata dan mengganggu proses keluar masuk barang jadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tata letak gudang yang ada dan merancang ulang tata letak gudang barang jadi menggunakan metode shared storage sebagai sebuah rekomendasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode Shared storage. Teknik analisis tersebut merupakan salah satu metode yang biasa gunakan untuk pengaturan tata letak gudang. Untuk kepentingan penelitian tersebut di gunakan data perusahaan dalam jangka waktu 1 tahun pada tahun 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa selama ini perusahaan belum menerapkan sistem penyimpanan yang efektif sehingga proses penyimpanan menjadi tidak teratur dan kapasitas gudang tidak bisa di gunakan secara maksimal. Kemudian analisis menggunakan metode shared storage diperoleh bahwa penggunaan metode shared storage pada perancangan ulang tata letak gudang baru lebih efektik karena memiliki nilai total jarak tempuh lebih pendek dari total jarak tempuh tata letak awal. Kemudian pada denah gudang yang baru disediakan gang yang lebarnya disesuaikan dengan alat material handling yang di gunakan yaitu trolley, sehingga kebutuhan ruang dapat dioptimalkan dengan baik dan alur proses keluar masuk barang menjadi lebih lancar dan efektif. "Analysis of Finished goods Warehouses Layout using the Shared Storage Method to Improve the Effectiveness of Warehouse Storage Systems (Case Study at PT. Genta Trikarya Bandung)" Under the guidance of Dr. Chairul Furqon, S.Sos, M.M. and Dr. Rofi Rofaida, SP, M.Si. The problem in this study is the ineffectiveness of the storage system in the finished goods warehouse PT Genta Trikarya Bandung because the storage system is not yet in accordance with the conditions of the warehouse, so that all this time the goods are placed randomly and only stored in the order to the shipping process. These conditions clearly make the warehouse become unorganized and disrupt the process of entering and leaving finished goods. This study aims to analyze the existing warehouse layout and redesign the finished warehouse warehouse layout using shared storage methods as a recommendation. This research is a descriptive study using the Shared storage method. The analysis technique is one of the methods commonly used for warehouse layout management. For the purposes of this research, company data is used for a period of 1 year in 2018. The results of the study show that so far the company has not implemented an effective storage system so that the storage process becomes irregular and the warehouse capacity cannot be used optimally. Then the analysis using the shared storage method found that the use of shared storage methods in the redesign of the new warehouse layout more effective because has a total value of mileage shorter than the total distance of the initial layout. Then in the new warehouse plan an alley is provided with a width adapted to the material handling tool used, namely the trolley, so that space requirements can be optimized properly and the flow of goods in and out process becomes more smooth and effective.
