Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran tari Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut untuk meningkatkan karakter sosial siswa di SMPN 40 Bandung.Nilai sosial yaitu percaya diri, interaksi sosial, dan kerjasama dalam tari Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut diterapkan kepada siswa melalui model cooperative learning. Langkah penerapan cooperative learning diawali dengan menyampaikan tujuan dan mempersiapkan peserta didik (present goals and set), menyajikan informasi (Present information), mengorganisir peserta didik ke dalam tim-tim belajar (organize students into learning teams), membantu kerja tim dan belajar (assit team work and study), mengevaluasi (test of the materials), dan memberikan pengakuan dan penghargaan (Provide recognition). Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kuantitatif dengan metode ekperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah experimental design dengan “one group pretest and posttest”. Data-data diperoleh melalui test dan di analisis melalui uji T. Hasil penelitian bahwa pembelajaran tari Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut menggunakan cooperative learning dapat meningkatkan karakter sosial siswa yaitu sikap percaya diri, interaksi sosial, dan kerjasama dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 2,48 dan mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan treatment diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 3,58. Selisih pretest dan posttest 3,33 dengan nilai Uji T 19,58> 2,045, maka hipotesis (Ha) diterima. Kata Kunci: Tari Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut, Cooperative Learning, Karakter Sosial   ABSTRACT This study aims to implement the Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut dance learning to improve the social character of students in Bandung 40 Junior High School. Social values namely confidence, social interaction, and collaboration in Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut dance are applied to students through models cooperative learning. The Steps to implement cooperative learning began by to present goals and sets, to present information, to organize students into learning teams, assit team work and study, test of the materials, and provide recognition. This research use quantitative paradigm with the experimental method. The study design used experimental design with "one group pretest and posttest". The data were obtained through a test and analyzed through the T test. The results of this research that Selampit Delapan Tulang Belut dance learning used cooperative learning improve students' social character namely confidence, social interaction, and collaboration with an average pretest of 2.48 experienced an increase after being given treatment, the posttest mean value was 3.58.
