Abstract

ABSTRAK Tania Lustanti (1407029), “Pengaruh Employee Engagement dan Iklim Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air Provinsi Jawa Barat”. Di bawah bimbingan Dr. H. Syamsul Hadi Senen, MM dan Masharyono AP, S.Pd, M.M. Keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan organisasi sangat ditentukan oleh peran dan tanggung jawab pegawai didalamnya. Pegawai dituntut untuk dapat mendukung dan terlibat dalam setiap kegiatan pencapaian tujuan dalam organisasi. Ketidak mampuan pegawai dalam melakukan pekerjaan dengan maksimal akan menyebabkan permasalahan pada kinerja pegawai. Kinerja pegawai tersebut akan berdampak pada kinerja organisasi yang akhirnya dapat menghambat terwujudnya tujuan organisasi. Permasalahan mengenai pencapaian kinerja yang belum optimal dialami oleh sektor privat dan publik salah satunya yaitu sektor pemerintahan pada Dinas Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air Provinsi Jawa Barat. Upaya untuk menigkatkan kinerja pegawai yang dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air Provinsi Jawa Barat adalah meningkatkan employee engagement dan memperbaiki iklim organsiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran employee engagement, (2) gambaran iklim organisasi, (3) gambaran kinerja, (4) pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja, dan (5) pengaruh iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja, (6) pengaruh employee engagement dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu probability sampling menggunakan sampling berjumlah 84 responden melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) gambaran employee engagement dalam kategori tinggi dengan perolehan skor sebesar 6602 atau 86,4%, (2) gambaran iklim organisasi dalam kategori baik dengan perolehan skor sebesar 9752 atau 82,93%, (3) gambaran kinerja dalam kategori tinggi dengan perolehan skor sebesar 8957 atau 84,63%, (4) employee engagement berpengaruh terhadap kinerja sebesar 49% atau berada pada kategori sedang, serta (5) iklim organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja sebesar 76,6% atau berada pada kategori kuat, (6) employee engagement dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja sebesar 77,1% atau berada pada kategori kuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disarankan peningkatan employee engagement dapat dilakukan melalui adanya dedication (dedikasi) pada diri pegawai. Dalam segi iklim organisasi disarankan pimpinan dapat membentuk dan memperbaiki iklim organisasi melalui pemberian penghargaan kepada pegawai. Sehingga diharapkan employee engagement dan iklim organisasi dapat menunjang peningkatan kinerja pegawai. Under the guidance of Dr. H. Syamsul Hadi Senen, MM and Masharyono AP, S.Pd, M.M. The success of achieving organizational goals is largely determined by the roles and responsibilities of employees in it. Employees are required to be able to support and be involved in every activity to achieve goals in the organization. The inability of employees to do work optimally will cause problems in employee performance. Employee performance will have an impact on organizational performance which can ultimately hinder the realization of organizational goals. The problem regarding the achievement of performance that has not been optimal is experienced by the private sector and the public, one of which is the government sector in the Office of Dinas Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air Provinsi Jawa Barat. The effort to improve employee performance carried out by the Dinas Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air Office Provinsi Jawa Barat is to increase employee engagement and improve the organizational climate. This study aims to obtain (1) description of employee engagement, (2) description of organizational climate, (3) description of performance, (4) the effect of employee engagement on performance, and (5) the influence of organizational climate on performance, (6) the influence of employee engagement and organizational climate on performance. The method used is explanatory survey with sample techniques namely probability sampling using sampling totaling 84 respondents through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 24.0 for Windows. The findings in this study indicate that(1) the description of employee engagement in the high category with a score of 6602 or 86.4%, (2) the description of the organizational climate in good categories with a score of 9752 or 82.93%, (3) the description of performance in the high category with a score of 8957 or 84.63%, (4) employee engagement has an effect on performance by 49% or in the moderate category, and (5) the organizational climate has an effect on performance of 76.6% or in the strong category, (6) employee engagement and organizational climate has an effect on performance by 77,1% or in the strong category. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that increasing employee engagement can be done through the existence of dedication (dedication) to employees. In terms of organizational climate, the leadership is advised to form and improve the organizational climate by giving awards to employees. So that expected employee engagement and organizational climate can support employee performance improvement. Keywords: Employee engagement, organizational climate, employee performance
