Abstract
Angleng merupakan makanan tradisional khas Sunda dan menjadi salah satu makanan tradisional warisan budaya Sunda Indonesia. Pada zaman sekarang makanan tradisional Angleng sudah sulit ditemukan, kalah pamor dengan makanan modern bahkan makanan tradisional lain seperti kue cubit dan kue balok. Perlu adanya aksi nyata dalam melestarikan makanan tradisional ini yakni salah satunya dengan melihat potensi Angleng sebagai atraksi wisata gastronomi di Kampung Nihmat Desa Cigugur Kecamatan Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan cara pembuatan makanan tradisional Angleng, sejarah, filosofi, dan tradisi sudah diketahui. Namun pelestarian dan eksistensi makanan tradisional Angleng pada zaman sekarang memprihatinkan. Tetapi sudah ada sedikit upaya dari para produsen Angleng, dan Ahli Gastronomi untuk melestarikannya dengan caranya masing-masing. Melihat potensi dilapangan, makanan tradisional Angleng cukup berpotensi jika dijadikan suatu atraksi wisata gastronomi. Hal itu ditunjang dengan fasilitas pendukung yang cukup memadai. Dengan begitu, penulis membuat suatu paket wisata gastronomi di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan menjadikan Makanan Tradisional Angleng sebagai objeknya. Diharapkan langkah tersebut dapat membuat Makanan Tradisional Angleng lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat. ;---Angleng is a traditional Sundanese food and become one of the traditional food of Sunda Indonesia's cultural heritage. At the present time Angleng traditional food is hard to find, losing prestige with modern food and even other traditional foods such as pinch cake and beam cake. There needs to be real action in preserving this traditional food that one of them by seeing the potential of Angleng as a gastronomic tourist attraction in Kampung Nihmat Cigugur Village Parongpong District, West Bandung regency. This research was conducted using qualitative method with data collection technique through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The results show how Angleng traditional food making, history, philosophy, and traditions are known. But the preservation and existence of traditional Angleng food today is alarming. But there has been little effort from Angleng producers, and gastronomy experts to preserve it in their own way. Seeing the potential of the field, traditional food Angleng quite potential if used as a gastronomic tourist attraction. It is supported by adequate supporting facilities. That way, the authors create a package of gastronomic tourism in West Bandung regency by making Traditional Food Angleng as its object. It is hoped that these measures can make Angleng Traditional Food better known by the people.
