Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH YOGA TELKOM TERHADAP FLEKSIBILITAS LANSIA BERBAGAI KLASIFIKASI USIA DI VIP FITNESS TELKOM JABAR Oleh: Pajar Purnama 1504042 Pembimbing I dan II: Prof Dr. Nurlan Kusmaedi, M.Pd & Dr, Surdiniaty Ugelta, M.Kes., AIFO Masyarakat diharapkan mau dan ikut melakukan kegiatan olahraga secara teratur, terutama mereka yang sudah berusia lanjut. Dikala pertumbuhan manula kian meningkat maka usia harapan hidup juga tinggi, lansia cenderung mudah terserang komplikasi penyakit degeneratif. Perlu diadakan penelitian yoga terhadap fleksibilitas pada usia lanjut yang telah mengikuti kegiatan ini secara rutin dan yang tidak mengikuti yoga sebagai variabel kontrol. Sehingga dapat diperoleh hasil dan bahan masukan dalam evaluasi fleksibilitas untuk menjaga kebugaran jasmani anggota Vip Fitness. Penelitian ini menggunakan Ex Pose Facto. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 20 orang yang diambil menggunakan metode Cluster sampling kategori lanjut usia 45-74 tahun. Untuk Instrumen fleksibilitas yaitu 3 komponen tes lansia dari Senior Fitness Test Manual. Analisis yang digunakan ialah Independent sampel t Test dibantu dengan menggunakan SPSS 16. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah; (1) Terdapat pengaruh yoga terhadap Fleksibilitas sendi panggul, punggung, dan hamstring lansia lansia middle age usia 45 – 59 tahun, berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka Hipotesis diterima. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yoga terhadap Fleksibilitas bahu, panggul lansia Elderly usia 59 – 74 tahun, berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 maka Hipotesis diterima. Kata Kunci : Lansia, Yoga, Fleksibilitas The community is expected to want and participate in regular sports activities, especially those who are elderly. When elderly growth increases, life expectancy is also high, elderly people tend to be susceptible to complications from degenerative diseases. Yoga research needs to be done on the flexibility of the elderly who have taken part in this activity regularly and who do not follow yoga as a control variable. So that results and input material can be obtained in evaluating the flexibility to maintain physical fitness of Vip Fitness members. This study uses Pose Facto Ex. The sample used was as many as 20 people who were taken using the cluster sampling method in the elderly category 45-74 years. Instruments for flexibility, there are 3 components of the elderly test from the Senior Fitness Test Manual. The analysis used is Independent sampel t Test assisted by using SPSS 16. The results obtained in this study include; (1) There is the influence of yoga on the flexibility of the hip, back and hamstring joints of the elderly middle age aged 45 - 59 years, based on the results of data analysis obtained a significance value of 0,000 <0,05, the hypothesis is accepted. (2) There is the influence of yoga on shoulder flexibility, elderly Elderly pelvis 59 - 74 years of age, based on the results of data analysis obtained a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, the hypothesis is accepted.
