Abstract

Prestasi belajar dan manajemen waktu merupakan satu kesatuan dari faktor keberhasilan siswa dalam mencapai prestasinya di sekolah. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji hubungan antara manajemen waktu dengan prestasi belajar siswa atlet Kelas X, XI, XII di SMA Negeri 6 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi yang melibatkan 77 orang subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecenderungan umum manajemen waktu berada pada kategori cukup efektif, dengan perolehan skor tertinggi pada aspek kontrol pada waktu. Kecenderungan umum prestasi belajar siswa atlet melalui nilai raport berada pada kategori cukup. Hasil pengujian korelasi menggunakan Spearman‘s rho menunjukkan hasil dengan nilai (rxy) sebesar -0,209 dengan arah negatif, dan memiliki nilai signifikasi p=0,034<0,05 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang tidak searah dan signifikan antara manajemen waktu dengan prestasi belajar. Hubungan yang tidak searah pada penelitian dapat dijelaskan apabila manajemen waktu siswa atlet tinggi maka prestasi belajar siswa atlet rendah, begitupun sebaliknya apabila prestasi belajar siswa atlet tinggi, maka manajemen waktu siswa atlet rendah. Hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi menunjukkan manajemen waktu memberikan kontribusi sebesar 1,7689% terhadap prestasi belajar. Temuan penelitian berimplikasi terhadap perlunya peningkatan manajemen waktu dan prestasi belajar secara beriringan melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling menggunakan teknik bimbingan kelompok guna untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan siswa atlet dalam manajemen waktu dan prestasi belajarnya. ABSTRACT Learning achievement and time management is a unity of the success factors of students in achieving their achievements in school. The research aimed to examine the relationship between time management and learning achievement of students of class X, XI, XII athletes in 6 Bandung Senior High School Academic Year 2018/2019. The study used quantitative approach with a correlation method involving 77 participants. The results showed that the general trend of time management was in the category of being quite effective, with the highest score on the time-control aspect. The general trend of learning achievement of athlete students in the report card aspect was in the sufficient category. The results of testing the correlation using Spearmans rho showed results with a value (rxy) of -0.209 with a negative direction and has a significance value p = 0.034 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship that is not in the same direction and significant between time management and learning achievement. Relationships that are not unidirectional in this study can be explained that when time management of athletes is high, student achievement is low, and conversely, if learning achievement athletes is high, then time management is low. The test results of the coefficient of determination indicated that time management contributed 1.7689% to learning achievement. The research findings have implications for the need to improve time management and learning achievement simultaneously through guidance and counseling using group guidance techniques to optimize the ability of athletes' students in time management and learning achievement.
