Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kebutuhan bahan ajar sebagai sumber belajar peserta pada pelatihan handicraft di Panti Pemberdayaan Sosial Bina Remaja (PPSBR) Lembang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuat modul sebagai sumber belajar pelatihan handicraft bagi remaja di Panti Pemberdayaan Sosial Bina Remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model Planning, Production and Evaluation (PPE). Pembutan modul pelatihan ini diuji kelayakan kepada para ahli melalui expert judgement. Validator penelitian terdiri dari tiga orang yaitu ahli kurikulum, ahli kerajinan dan pimpinan penyelenggara pelatihan handicraft di PPSBR. Temuan analisis kebutuhan yaitu peserta pelatihan belum bisa belajar secara mandiri dan bahan ajar pelatihan yang tersedia sebatas pada program dan lembar informasi materi pelatihan, sementara modul sebagai bahan ajar belum tersedia. Hasil analisis kebutuhan dijadikan sebagai rujukan dalam pembuatan modul yang didukung oleh sumber lain sebagai panduan pembuatan modul. Modul yang dibuat terdiri dari tiga bagian, bagian muka modul, bagian isi, dan bagian penutup. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa modul yang sudah dibuat dan divalidasi sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar peserta pada pelatihan handicraft di PPSBR baik dilihat dari segi struktur isi modul, aspek isi, aspek bahasa dan materi hadnicraft. Rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan bahwa modul pelatihan handicraft dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar para peserta pelatihan dan rujukan para instruktur. This research is motivated by the need for teaching materials as a learning resource for participants in handicraft training at the Lembang Youth Development Empowerment Institution. The purpose of this study was to make the module a learning resource for handicraft training for adolescents at the Orphanage for Social Empowerment. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Planning, Production and Evaluation (PPE) model. The testing of this training module was tested for feasibility by experts through expert judgment. The research validator consisted of three people, namely curriculum experts, craft experts and leaders of handicraft training providers in PPSBR. The findings of the needs analysis are that the training participants have not been able to learn independently and the training teaching materials available are limited to the program and training material information sheets, while the modules as teaching materials are not yet available. The results of the needs analysis are used as a reference in making modules that are supported by other sources as a guide for making modules. The module made consists of three parts, the front part of the module, the contents section, and the closing section. The results showed that the modules that had been created and validated were very feasible to be used as teaching materials for participants in the handicraft training in PPSBR, both in terms of the structure of the module content, content aspects, language aspects and hadnicraft material. Recommendations that can be conveyed that the handicraft training module can be used as a source of learning for trainees and instructor referrals. Keywords: Training Module, Youth, Handicraft.
