Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan lingkungan yaitu banjir yang dapat disebabkan oleh manusia itu sendiri. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan masih rendahnya kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan. Sehingga perlu adanya tindakan dari berbagai pihak dan kalangan, seperti bentuk tindakan dari Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui gagasan yaitu community civics. Adapun yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) Bagaimana eksistensi komunitas “Balebat” dalam membina Civic Responsibility masyarakat Desa Dayeuhkolot Kabupaten Bandung ? (2) Bagaimana program yang dilaksanakan komunitas “Balebat” dalam membina Civic Responsibility masyarakat Desa Dayeuhkolot Kabupaten Bandung ? (3) Bagaimana hasil dari program yang dilaksanakan komunitas “Balebat” dalam membina Civic Responsibility masyarakat Desa Dayeuhkolot Kabupaten Bandung ?(4) Bagaimana kendala dan upaya untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi komunitas Balebat” dalam membina Civic Responsibility masyarakat Desa Dayeuhkolot Kabupaten Bandung ?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Eksistensi Komunitas “Balebat” telah membuktikan bahwa eksistensi Komunitas “Balebat” telah direspon positif dan juga didukung oleh masyarakat. hal ini dibuktikan dengan Komunitas “Balebat” diakui oleh pihak luar, dijadikan objek penelitian mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi dengan berbagai disiplin ilmu untuk penulisan tugas akhir, yaitu skripsi. 2) Pelaksanaan program Komunitas “Balebat” meliputi tahap proses perencanaan, dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan dan diakhiri evaluasi. 3) Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan Komunitas “Balebat” telah efektif dalam membina civic responsibility masyarakat. 4) Kendala dan upaya Komunitas “Balebat” dalam membina Civic Responsibility masyarakat yaitu kendalanya kurangnya SDM, sumber dana, kesadaran masyarakat yang masih kurang, serta upaya yang dilakukan adalah mengoptimalkan SDM yang ada melakukan sosialisasi secara kontinyu kepada masyarakat melibatkan berbagai pihak dalam kegiatan dan berkolaborasi di dalam pendanaan. ----------- This research is motivated by environmental problems, namely floods that can be caused by humans themselves. This indicates that there is still a low level of public awareness about the environment. So that there needs to be action from various parties and circles, such as the form of action from Citizenship Education through the idea of community civics. As for the formulation of the problem in this study are (1) How is the existence of the "Balebat" community in fostering the Civic Responsibility of the people of Dayeuhkolot Village, Bandung Regency? (2) How is the program carried out by the "Balebat" community in fostering the Civic Responsibility of the people of Dayeuhkolot Village in Bandung Regency? (3) What are the results of the program carried out by the "Balebat" community in fostering the Civic Responsibility of the Dayeuhkolot Village in Bandung Regency? This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques carried out were interviews, observation, documentation studies, and field notes. The results showed that: 1) The existence of the "Balebat" Community has proven that the existence of the "Balebat" Community has been responded positively and also supported by the community. this is evidenced by the "Balebat" Community recognized by outsiders, being the object of research for students from various universities with various disciplines for final assignment, namely thesis. 2) The implementation of the "Balebat" Community program includes the planning process, followed by implementation and ending evaluation. 3) The results of implementing the "Balebat" Community activities have been effective in fostering civic responsibility of the community. 4) Constraints and efforts of the "Balebat" Community in fostering the Civic Responsibility of the community are the constraints of lack of human resources, funding sources, lack of public awareness, and efforts to optimize existing HR to carry out continuous socialization to the community involving various parties in activities and collaborating in funding.
