    Abstract

    Rapid consolidation adalah salah satu cara untuk mempercepat uji konsolidasi. Metode rapid consolidation ini menggunakan prinsip menambah nilai LIR pada uji sehingga konsolidasi berjalan lebih cepat. Selain pada konsolidasi LIR juga digunakan pada uji triaxial untuk menentukan nilai tegangan keliling. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari pengaruh yang terjadi pada parameter hasil uji konsolidasi dan triaxial yang LIR nya telah dirubah. LIR baru yang digunakan adalah 1,5 dan 2. Tanah disturbed ini berjenis CL dengan Gs= 2,72; LL=42.97%; PL=24,5%; IP=18,7%. Perbedaan terjadi pada nilai Cr yang menurun hingga 7,8% dan Cs mengalami kenaikan sebesar 16,1%jika LIR adalah 2. Pada parameter kuat geser yaitu cu dan  tidak ada perubahan nilai. Peningkatan nilai LIR ini menyebabkan perubahan nilai parameter konsolidasi namun tidak berpengaruh pada perhitungan penurunan dan mempercepat waktu uji konsolidasi.---- Rapid consolidation is used to speed up the consolidation test. Rapid consolidation method uses the principle of adding LIR value to the test so that consolidation test occurs faster. Other than consolidation test, LIR is also used in triaxial tests to determine the value of circumferential stress. This research aims to find the effect that occurs on the parameters of consolidation and triaxial results if LIR is changed. The new LIR used is 1.5 and 2. The type of disturbed soil sample is CL with Gs =2,72; LL = 42.97%; PL = 24.5%; IP = 18.7%. Differences occur in Cr values decreased to 7.8% and Cs increased by 16.1% if LIR is 2. On the shear strength parameter which cu and  no value change. This increase in LIR value make consolidation parameter change but it doesn’t affect to consolidation itself and accelerate the consolidation test time.
