Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi SPC (Statistical Process Control) pada mata kuliah Pengawasan Mutu Agroindustri di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Pengembangan multimedia interaktif untuk pembelajaran materi SPC dilakukan berdasarkan hasil survey kepada mahasiswa angkatan 2014 dan 2015 dimana sebanyak 47,6% responden menyatakan bahwa materi SPC merupakan materi yang paling sulit dipahami dan memerlukan bantuan media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran. Multimedia interaktif dikembangkan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang dimulai dari tahap identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, mendesain produk multimedia, validasi desain oleh pakar, uji coba produk skala kecil, serta uji coba skala besar. Uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri angkatan 2015 yang telah mengikuti perkuliahan Pengawasan Mutu Agroindustri. Pada penelitian ini tingkat kelayakan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan dibatasi pada penilaian kelayakan berdasarkan ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan kelayakan penggunaan media pembelajaran menurut pendapat mahasiswa. Multimedia interaktif dinilai layak oleh ahli media dan ahli materi serta dinilai sangat layak oleh ahli bahasa. Hasil uji coba skala besar menilai multimedia interaktif yang dibuat sebagai media pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori baik.;---This research aims to develop interactive multimedia for SPC material learning at the subject of Agroindustrial Quality Control in Agroindustrial Technology Education Program Study, Indonesia Education University. Based on the preliminary survey to the student of 2014 and 2015 class, 47,6% from respondents was stated SPC is the most difficult subject to learn and they needed learning media to help them learn. The interactive multimedia for SPC material learning was developed using Research and Development method that started from potency and problem identification, data collection, multimedia product design, design validation by expert, small scale trial, and big scale trial. Small and big scale trials was done to Agroindustrial Technology Education student of 2015 class who had pass Agroindustrial Quality Control Class. The appropriatenes assessment of SPC material learning interactive multimedia was conducted only to media, material and language appropriatenes, and also to assessment by student. The interactive multimedia was assessed appropriate by media and material expert, and very appropriate by language expert. Big scale trial shown that the interactive multimedia was categorized good (suitable to used by the student).
