Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Kontribusi Peran Gender terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pendidikan Jasmani Siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak sebanyak 24 siswa dari populasi 152 siswa di SMAN 1 Parongpong. Instrumen tes adalah berupa Angket BSRI untuk mengetahui peran gender terlebih dahulu dan didapat sebanyak 8 sampel yang memiliki peran maskulin, 8 sampel yang memiliki peran feminin dan 8 sampel yang memiliki peran netral. Hasil uji coba instrumen motivasi belajar Pendidikan Jasmani 35 butir soal valid dan reliabilitas 0,91. Nilai rata-rata data faktual tes motivasi belajar Pendidikan Jasmani siswa sebesar 130.87 atau setara dengan 75%, dengan kriteria Baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefesien determinan untuk menegetahui sumbangan peran gender terhadap motivasi belajar pendidikan jasmani hanya sebesar 0.4 atau setara dengan 14%. Berdasarkan data tersebut, peran gender tidak memberikan kontribusi yang segnifikan terhadap motivasi belajar Pendidikan Jasmani Siswa Kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Parongpong.----------The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of Gender Roles to the motivation of learning physical education students. The method used is an descriptive method. Random sampling technique, is 24 students from population of 152 students in SMAN 1 Parongpong. The test instrument is in the form of Questionnaire of BSRI to know the role of gender and get as many as 8 samples which have masculine role, 8 samples which have feminine role, and 8 sample which have neutral role. The result of experimental instrument of learning motivation of physical educaion 35 item about valid and reliability 0,91. The average value of factual data of student physical motivation test is 130,87 or equal to 75% with good criteria. Based on the results of determinant coefficient tests to determine the contributionof gender roles to the learning motivation of physical education is only 0,4 or equal to 14%. Based on these data, gender roles do not contribute significantly to the motivation to learn physical education student class XI IPS SMAN 1 Parongpong.
