    Abstract

    This research was conducted at Bandung Education Department. The problem studied in this research is not yet optimal work productivity of Bandung City Education Department employees. This study consists of two variables, namely, the development of human resources as variable X and employee productivity as a variable Y.
    The purpose of this study is to determine the level of development of human resources and employee productivity, other than that is to know how much influence development human resources to employee productivity in Bandung Education Department.
    The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire with scale scale rating model. Data were analyzed using simple regression. The size of the population as much as 57 respondents are the employees of Bandung Education Department. Based on the analysis results obtained picture of human resource development is in the category of effective and employee productivity in the category of being. Hypothesis test results obtained human resources development affect the productivity of employees----
    Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya produktivitas kerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu, pengembangan sumber daya manusia sebagai variabel X dan produktivitas kerja pegawai sebagai variabel Y. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan produktivitas kerja pegawai, selain itu adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pengembangan sumber daya manusia terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model skala rating scale. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Ukuran populasi sebanyak 57 responden yaitu para pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung.
    Berdasarakan hasil analisis didapatkan gambaran pengembangan sumber daya manusia berada pada kategori efektif dan produktivitas kerja pegawai pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh pengembangan sumber daya manusia berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai.
