Abstract

Komunitas Suropati Chamber adalah sebuah komunitas yang di dalamnya terdapat proses pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran di KSC terdapat hal yang menarik dimana pada pembelajaran saxophone, guru yang mengajar bukan seseorang yang ahli dalam alat saxophone tetapi ahli dalam memainkan alat musik flute. Dalam proses mengajar saxophone pun pengajar selalu menggunakan alat musik flute. Fokus permasalahan yang dikaji meliputi materi yang diajarkan, langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran saxophone di Komunitas Suropati Chamber. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk menguraikan dan menggambarkan proses pembelajaran saxophone di Komunitas Suropati Chamber. Penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Data tersebut kemudian diolah kemudian di analisis untuk memperoleh pengertian dan makna yang berguna dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang ada pada pertanyaan penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan dilapangan, materi yang di gunakan adalah berupa modul Rubank Elementary Methode Saxopone, dan media gambar dalam pengajaran materi posisi fingering pada saxophone. Langkah – langkah pembelajaran saxophone dibagi menjadi tahapan awal, inti, dan akhir. Secara umum semua materi tersampaikan, tersusun berdasarkan kelas dan bisa diserap oleh murid, namun ada beberapa teknik yang tidak bisa disampaikan oleh pengajar dikarenakan pengajar yang bukan lah seorang yang paham tentang alat saxophone.---- Suropati Community Chamber is a community that has learning process within it. In doing learning process, they have some interesting lessons. Such as in saxophone lesson, they did not put a saxophonist as the instructor but they put a flutist as the instructor. Futhermore, problems of the research were focused on the topics of the lesson, learning methodology in saxophone learning process at there. Method of the research was in qualitative where it used to analyze and describe saxophone learning process at there. In addition,the researcher did an observation, interview, literary study, and documentation in collecting the data. Then, he analyzed the data to obtain the refferential meaning to answer research question. Based on the field result, they used Rubank Elementary Saxophone Method modul for the lesson and they used picture media in Saxophone fingering positions lesson. This technique was divided into opening, core , and closing activities. In general all of the lessons could be transferred and it ordered according to the grades. But there were some techniques that could not be transferred by the instructor because the instructor was not a saxophonist expert.
