Abstract

This research is motivated by the perception of students who stated that the condition of the mechanical drawing studio is in an uncomfortable condition so that the process of workmanship becomes ineffective. Manual drawing studio is one of the supporting facilities that are important especially for the success of the students' learning process of Program Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) in Vocational High School. But in fact the condition of the mechanical drawing studio has not been fully felt comfortable for its users. This is motivated by the findings about student perceptions about the comfort of the studio drawing manually used. In addition to the convenience of the mechanical drawing studio, the effectiveness of learning and teaching process is very influential on the success of student learning process. Similar to the convenience of the mechanical drawing studio, based on the research findings, the effectiveness of the learning process is considered not so good by the students. The research conducted in the manual drawing studio at SMKN 1 Cirebon aims to find out the students 'perceptions about the convenience of the manual drawing studio, the students' perceptions of the effectiveness of learning and teaching process and the influence of the convenience of the manual drawing studio on the effectiveness of learning and teaching process. Comfort indicators studied are circulation, air, temperature and lighting. This research uses quantitative approach with evaluative type of research. Respondent from this research is class 11 TGB 3 SMKN 1 Cirebon which amounted to 31 people with data collecting technique using interview, questionnaire and observation. Based on the results of research that has been done can be seen that the convenience of the mechanical drawing studio gives an effect of 52.8% on the effectiveness of learning and teaching process. As for the details, the lighting indicator gives 39,3% influence, the air indicator gives influence of 31,9%, temperature indicator gives influence equal to 25,1% and indicator of circulation give influence equal to 3,6%.---- Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya persepsi siswa yang menyatakan bahwa kondisi studio gambar manual berada pada kondisi yang tidak nyaman sehingga proses pengerjaan tugas di studio gambar manual menjadi tidak efektif. Studio gambar manual merupakan salah satu sarana penunjang yang bersifat penting terutama untuk keberhasilan proses belajar siswa Program Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Namun kenyataannya kondisi studio gambar manual belum sepenuhnya dirasa nyaman bagi penggunanya. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan mengenai persepsi siswa tentang kenyaman studio gambar manual yang digunakannya. Selain kenyaman studio gambar manual, efektivitas proses belajar mengajar pun sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan proses belajar siswa. Sama halnya dengan kenyamanan studio gambar manual, berdasarkan temuan penelitian, efektivitas proses belajar dinilai belum begitu baik oleh siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan di studio gambar manual di SMK Negeri 1 Kota Cirebon bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa mengenai kenyamanan studio gambar manual, persepsi siswa mengenai efektivitas proses belajar mengajar dan pengaruh kenyamanan studio gambar manual terhadap efektivitas proses belajar mengajar. Indikator kenyamanan yang diteliti yaitu sirkulasi, angin, temperatur dan penerangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian evaluatif. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah kelas 11 TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Cirebon yang berjumlah 31 orang dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan interview, penyebaran angket dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kenyamanan studio gambar manual memberikan pengaruh sebesar 52,8% terhadap efektivitas proses belajar mengajar. Adapun rinciannya, indikator penerangan memberikan pengaruh sebesar 39,3%, indikator angin memberikan pengaruh sebesar 31,9%, indikator temperatur memberikan pengaruh sebesar 25,1% dan indikator sirkulasi memberikan pengaruh sebesar 3,6%.
