Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang di temukan di Daycare Taman Isola, yaitu charater strength yang bermasalah. Hal itu ditandai dengan anak sulit berbagi dengan sesama temannya, anak yang tidak mau mengalah pada adiknya atau anak yang lebih muda, kurangnya kerjasama antara anak yang satu dengan yang lain, terjadi grouping, dan terjadinya pertengkaran mengunakan fisik. Hal tersebut menjadi alasan yang mendasari rumusan masalah, yaitu (1) Seperti apa profil character strength anak Daycare Taman Isola?, (2) bagaimana penerapan kegiatan low impact outbound dalam meningkatkan character strength anak Daycare Taman Isola?,(3) Bagaimana perubahan character strength anak Daycare Taman Isola setelah diterapkan kegiatan low impact outbound?. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang penerapan kegiatan low impact outbound dalam upaya mengembangkan character strength anak Daycare Taman Isola. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah anak Daycare Taman Isola yang berjumlah 9 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik pengelolaan data mengunakan teknik analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen kegiatan (1) Reduksi Data, (2) Mendiskipsikan Data, (3) Penarikan Kesimpulan. Kondisi akhir character strength mengalami perubahan yang cukup baik. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada setiap siklus, maka penggunaan kegiatan low impact outbound dalam meningkatkan character strength anak Daycare Taman Isola dinilai sangat efektif. Adapun rekomendasi bagi guru adalah Menjadikan kegiatan low impact outbound sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan character strength anak. Diharapkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya berusaha untuk mencari alternatif dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dengan pendekatan, metode, teknik, media atau strategi yang lain agar dapat memberikan masukan-masukan yang baru untuk meningkatkan character strength.-----This research background by the problems found in Daycare Taman Isola, which is problematic character strength. It was marked with the child's difficult to share with peers, children who will not budge on his sister or a younger child, the child's lack of cooperation with each other, grouping occurs, and the use of physical altercation. This is the reason underlying the formulation of the problem, namely (1) What kind of profiles character strength child at Daycare Taman Isola?, (2) how the implementation of low impact activities outbound in increasing character strength child at Daycare Taman Isola?, (3) How to change character strength child at Daycare Taman Isola after application of low impact activities outbound?. The research objective was to obtain an overview of the implementation of low impact outbound activities in order to develop strength of character child at Daycare Taman Isola. The method used was Classroom Action Research. Subjects were children Daycare Taman Isola totaling 9 children. Collection techniques of data collection is done through observation and study documentation. Data management techniques using interactive analytical techniques comprising three consists of activities (1) data reduction, (2) Describing data, (3) Withdrawal Conclusion. End conditions changed character strength is good enough. It can be seen from the results of observations made on each cycle, the use of low impact activities outbound in increasing character strength child at Daycare Taman Isola is considered very effective. The recommendation for teachers is low impact activities Making outbound as an alternative to improve the child's character strength. It is expected for the next researcher trying to find an alternative to overcome the existing problems with the approach, methods, techniques, media or other strategies in order to provide new inputs to enhance the character strength.
