Abstract

Kompetensi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang harus terus dibina, mendorong diselenggarakannya supervisi dan monitoring yang dilaksanakan penilik di Kober Al-Hidayah kec. Sukajadi, Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman penilik mengenai supervisi dan monitoring, mengetahui penyelenggaraan supervisi dan monitoring yang dilaksanakan penilik, dan faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung penyelenggaraan supervisi dan monitoring yang dilaksanakan penilik di Kober Al-Hidayah.Teori yang digunakan adalah teori supervisi dan monitoring mengenai prinsip, pendekatan, dan langkah-langkah supervisi dan monitoring. Metode yan digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah penilik, tutor dan kepala Kober Al-Hidayah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman penilik mengenai supervisi dan monitoring adalah dengan menjalankan prinsip-prinsip supervisi, yaitu saling mempercayai, hubungan yang sejajar, komunikatif, dan saling membantu. Sedangkan prinsip monitoring yang dijalankan oleh penilik adalah kejujuran, kesahihan atau keterandalan data, berkesinambungan, dan menyeluruh. Penilik melakukan dua pendekatan dalam supervisi dan monitoring, yaitu pendekatan langsung dan tidak langsung. Penilik menyelenggarakan supervise dan monitoring dengan melaksanakan langkah-langkah supervisi dan monitoring yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan supervisi akademik serta manajerial dan monitoring, dan tindak lanjut supervisi dan monitoring. Faktor-faktor pendukung supervisi dan monitoring yang dilaksanakan penilik adalah kompetensi akademik penilik, dan mitra penilik. Sedangkan faktor-faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya waktu dan kreatifitas yang dimiliki oleh penilik.Penilik perlu meningkatkan kinerja demi peningkatan mutu penyelenggaraan pendidikan Kober Al-Hidayah.-----The competence of teachers and educational personnel should continue to be built, encouraging home supervision and monitoring carried out supervisor in Kober Al-Hidayah kec. Sukajadi, Bandung. This research aims to know the capacity of understanding regarding supervision and monitoring, knowing the organization of supervision and monitoring implemented supervisor, and restricting factors and supporting organization of the supervision and monitoring con ducted supervisor Kober Al-Hidayah. The theory is the theory of supervise and monitoring principles, approaches, measures and supervision and monitoring. The method used is descriptive method. The subject is the supervisor, tutor and head of Kober Al-Hidayah. Using data collection techniques interviews, observation, documentation, studies and triangulation of the data. The research results showed that understanding supervisor about supervision and monitoring is to run the supervision principles, namely mutual trust, relationships that parallel, communicative, and help each other. Whereas the principle of monitoring undertaken by the supervisor is honesty, reliability of data, continuous, and comprehensive. Supervisor do two approaches in supervision and monitoring, namely direct and indirect approaches. Supervisor organizing the supervision and monitoring by carrying out supervision measures and monitoring, namely preparation, implementation of the activities of the academic and managerial supervision and monitoring, supervision and follow-up and monitoring. The factors supporting the supervision and monitoring of implemented supervisor is the competence of academic supervisor, partner and supervisor. While the inhibiting factors are lack of time and creativity owned by supervisor. The supervisors need to improve their performance in order to improve the quality of education of Kober Al-Hidayah.
