Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model teaching games for understanding (TGfU) terhadap hasil belajar permainan bolabasket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan melibatkan siswa ekstrakurikuler permainan bolabasket di SMP N 2 Ngamprah sebagai populasi penelitian. Sampel sebanyak 12 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yang melibatkan seluruh populasi. Desain penelitian ini adalah one-group pre-test post-test design. Uji hipotesis menggunakan paired t test. Kriteria pengujian untuk hipotesis ini menggunakan taraf signifikan (α) 0,05, apabila t hitung > t tabel maka Ho ditolak. Diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel (17 > 2,201), maka Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran teaching games for understanding (TGfU) terhadap hasil belajar permainan bolabasket di SMP N 2 Ngamprah.-----The objective the research is to find out the impact of applying teaching games for understanding (TGfU) model to the result of basketball games learning process. This research is employing an experimental methods with involving extracurricular student at 2 Ngamprah junior highschool as the population. Overall there are 12 student as the samples using saturated sampling technique. The design to be occupied is one-group pre-test post-test design. Hypothesis test using the paired t test. Criteria testing for this hypothesis using standard significant (α) 0,05 if t count > t table then Ho is rejected. Obtained, t count > t table (17 > 2, 201) then Ho rejected. So, it can be concluded that the teaching games for understanding (TGfU) learning model gave significant impact to the result of basketball games learning process at 2 Ngamprah junior highschool.
