Abstract

Pelatihan brain jogging adalah sebuah metode latihan mental baru di Indonesia, pelatihan ini diadaptasi dari Jerman dengan nama Life Kinetik. Latihan ini mengkombinasikan tiga unsur latihan yaitu pelatihan cognition, multitasking, physical activity yang secara dominan dilakukan dengan aktivitas jogging. Dalam hal ini, tentu dapat diketahui bahwa latihan brain jogging ini menyatukan dua aspek dalam satu waktu yaitu aspek kognitif dan psikomotor. Terlebih lagi latihan brain jogging dapat disamakan dengan brain gym atau brain training yang memiliki manfaat terhadap kepercayaan diri. Kepercayaan diri dalam olahraga sangatlah penting bagi atlet itu sendiri, atlet memerlukan kepercayaan diri yang sesuai dengan kemampuannya agar atlet dapat menampilkan performa terbaiknya dalam sebuah pertandingan. Sehingga pelatihan brain jogging dirasa mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri bagi atlet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah karena masih belum banyaknya model latihan yang menyatukan dua aspek dalam satu waktu, selain itu dalam olahraga bola voli hal ini sangat diperlukan karena kegiatan voli juga memadukan dua hal yaitu kecepatan berpikir dan keputusan dalam sebuah gerakan seperti spike. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design, karena penelitian ini meneliti memberikan treatment pelatihan brain jogging pada satu kelompok. Hasil dari pengolahan dan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa pelatihan brain jogging berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepercayaan diri atlet bola voli. ---Brain jogging training is a new training method in Indonesia, this training is adapted from Germany by the name Life Kinetik. This exercise combines three elements of training that is cognition, multitasking, physical activity is dominant done with jogging activities. In this case, it can be seen that the brain jogging exercise unites two aspects at a time that’s the cognitive and psychomotor aspects. Moreover, brain jogging exercises can be likened to a brain gym or brain training that has benefits to self-confidence. Confidence in the sport is very important for the athlete himself, the athlete needs the confidence that fits his ability to make the athlete perform his best performance in a match. So that brain jogging training is felt to increase confidence for athletes. The purpose of this study is because there are not many models of exercises that unite the two aspects at a time, in addition to volleyball sport is very necessary because the volleyball activity also combines two things: the speed of thinking and decisions in a movement like a spike. The method used in this research is experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design, because this research is researching giving treatment of brain jogging training in one group. The results of processing and data analysis conducted obtained that brain jogging training significantly influence the self-confidence of volleyball athletes.
