Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan Sekolah Menengah kejuruan Agribisnis Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian berdasarkan pendekatan manpower planning di Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sekabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan melibatkan partisipan dari pejabat di lingkungan Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil, Menengah dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Ciamis; Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Kabupaten Ciamis; Badan Pelayanan Terpadu dan Penanaman modal Kabupaten Ciamis; Wakil Kepala Sekolah bagian kurikulum; Ketua Jurusan Agribisnis Pegolahan Hasil Pertanian; Owner dan Staff pada industri pengolahan ubi kayu di Kabupaten Ciamis (di Perusahaan Sena Mekar, Tanjung dan Fadila) dan HRD Manajer serta Staff quality control di CV Arira Pangindo Bogor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dibutuhkan 16 output dari Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) pada Program Keahlian Agribisnis Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian untuk memenuhi permintaan tenaga kerja pada bidang quality control. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa permintaan 16 tenaga kerja pada bidang quality control dapat terpenuhi oleh Sekolah yang sudah ada yaitu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 1 Cipaku. Namun di sisi lain, kurikulum Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) pada Program Keahlian Agribisnis Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian masih perlu dioptimalkan di antaranya melalui penambahan mata pelajaran tentang regulasi makanan. Direktorat Pembinaan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, Kementerian Republik Indonesia beserta Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat perlu memperbaiki kurikulum Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) pada Program Keahlian Agribisnis Pengolahan . ------ The purpose of this research was to analyze the need of vocational school Agribusiness on Processing of Agricultural Products based on manpower planning approach in Ciamis City. This research was conducted at Vocational Schools in Ciamis City, West Java. Research data obtained through documentation and interviews by involving participants from officials in Department of Cooperatives, industry and Trade of Ciamis City; Department of Agriculture and Food Security of Ciamis City; Integrated Service and Investment Agency of Ciamis City; Vice Principal of Curriculum of Vocational School Number 1 Cipaku; Chairman of Agribusiness on Processing of Agricultural Products major of Vocational School Number 1 Cipaku; Owner and Staff of cassava processing industry in Ciamis (Sena Mekar, Tanjung and Fadila company) and HRD Manager and Quality Control Staff at CV Arira Pangindo Bogor. The results of this research was needed 16 outputs from vocational school Agribusiness on Processing of Agricultural Products to meet the demand of labor in the quality control. From the result of this research, it can be concluded that the demand of 16 workers in quality control can be fulfilled by the existing School is Vocational School Number 1 Cipaku. In addition, the curriculum of vocational school Agribusiness on Processing of Agricultural Products needs to be optimized through the addition of subjects on food safety and food regulation. Directorate of Vocational School Development, Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia and Education Authorities of West Java Province need to improve the curriculum of vocational school Agribusiness on Processing of Agricultural Products to be more relevant with the needs in the word of business and industry.
