Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas bimbingan kelompok dengan metode halaqah untuk mengembangkan altruisme siswi SMK Daarut Tauhid Boarding School Bandung tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi-eksperiment dengan non- equivalent pre-test post-test control group design pada enam belas orang siswi kelas XI, dengan masing-masing kelas terpilih delapan orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan delapan orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala altruisme. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik nonparametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara kuantitatif, bimbingan kelompok dengan metode halaqah belum efektif untuk mengembangkan altruisme siswi. Beberapa hal yang menyebabkan belum efektifnya metode halaqah adalah durasi waktu dalam pelaksanaan halaqah, pelaksanaan halaqah belum variatif dan kesungguhan serta perhatian penuh anggota dalam mengikuti halaqah. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian untuk peneliti selanjutnya yang akan meneliti tentang halaqah yaitu kesiapan dan koordinasi yang jelas terkait waktu, menggunakan durasi waktu yang lebih lama dalam proses pelaksanaan halaqah serta melakukan kegiatan yang lebih variatif dalam halaqah serta sebaiknya menghadirkan supervisor. -------- The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of group guidance with the halaqah method to develop altruism of XI students at SMK Daarut Tauhid Boarding School Bandung in 2016/2017 academic year. This study used the quasi-experimental method with non-equivalent pre-test and post-test group design on sixteen students of XI grade, on each class was selected eight students as experimental group and eight students as control group. The data was collected by using altruism scale and was analyzed by using the analysis of nonparametric statistics test. The results showed that group guidance with the halaqah method is not effective yet to develop students’ altruism quantitatively. There are several reasons causing the ineffective of the halaqah method, such as the limited time of the halaqah, the seriousness and full attention of the participants. The recommendations of this study for further researchers are the clear coordination related to time, presenting the halaqah supervision, and performing more varied activities in the halaqah.
