Abstract

Dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang ada yaitu kemampuan berhitung di TK Hamdallah masih rendah. Dari permasalahan tersebut dituangkan kedalam rumusan masalah yaitu, (1) Bagaimana kondisi objektif kemampuan berhitung pada anak usia dini kelompok B1 TK Hamdallah sebelum penggunaan media papan flanel ? (2) Bagaimana aktivitas guru dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media papan flanel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung di TK B ? (3) Bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini kelompok B1 TK Hamdallah setelah penggunaan media papan flanel ?. subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Hamdallah yang berjumlah 14 anak. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, tes, wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus dan dilakukan 2 kali tindakan disetiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada kemampuan berhitung anak setelah digunakannya media papan flanel. Observasi awal menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berhitung anak yang berada pada kategori baik (B) 7,14%, dan kategori cukup (C) 42,85%, kategori kurang (K) 50. Sedangkan setelah diberikan kegiatan menggunakan media papan flanel mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus 1 menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berhitung anak yang berada pada kategori baik (B) 21,42%, cukup (C) 57,14%, kurang (K) 21,42%. Kemudian pada siklus 2 yang berada pada kegiatan balik (B) 85,71%, cukup (C) 14,28%, kurang (K) 0%. Adapun kriterianya adalah: Baik (B) anak dapat melakukan dengan sangat baik tanpa bantuan, Cukup (C) anak dapat melakukan cukup baik dengan sedikit bantuan, Kurang (K) anak dapat melakukan dengan mendapat bantuan penuh dari awal sampai akhir. Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk guru atau pendidik anak usia dini yaitu dalam pemeblajaran meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini menggunakan media-media pembelajaran yang rill sehingga anak dapat berpikir kongkrit. ---The research was conducted in Hamdallah Kindergarten with background of existing problem that is the ability of counting on the early children which is still low. From that problems above, there is the scope of analysis (1) What is the objective condition of numeracy skills in early childhood group B1 Hamdallah Kindergarten before use of flannel board media? (2) How does the teacher activity in learning using flannel board media to improve numeracy skills in group B1 Hamdallah Kindergarten? (3) How to improve early childhood numeracy skills of group B1 Hamdallah Kindergarten after use of flannel board media?. Subjects in this study were children of group B1 Hamdallah Kindergarten, which amounted to 14 children. Data collection procedure used in the form of observation, test, interview. This research was conducted for 2 cycles and done 2 times action in every cycle. The results showed an increase in the ability to count children after use of flannel board media. Preliminary observation showed that the ability of counting children in good category (B) is 7,14%, and enough category (C) is 42,85%, less category (K) is 50%. While after using flannel board media have increased. In cycle 1 shows that the ability to count children who are in good category (B) is 21.42%, enough (C) is 57.14%, less (K) is 21.42%. Then on the 2nd cycle that is on the turning activity (B) is 85.71%, enough (C) is 14.28%, less (K) is 0%. The (k) children can do very well without help, Enough (C) children can do well enough with little help, Less (K) children can do with full help from start to finish. Recommendations given to early childhood teachers or educators are in learning to improve early childhood skills using the learning media so that children can think concretely.
