Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada masalah banyaknya lulusan Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi yang berprofesi selain guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan sikap mahasiswa terhadap profesi guru dilihat dari berbagai angkatan, jenis kelamin, hasil belajar, dukungan keluarga, pekerjaan orang tua dan dukungan teman sebaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 342 orang dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 320 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data, menggunakan perhitungan statistika deskriptif yaitu: mean; median; modus; tabulasi silang dan uji beda. Hasil menunjukkan : (i) sikap mahasiswa terhadap profesi guru berada pada kategori sikap positif; (ii) S mahasiswa angkatan 2014 memiliki sikap lebih baik dibandingkan angkatan 2012, 2013 dan 2015; (iii) mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan tidak memiliki perbedaan sikap; (iv), mahasiswa yang memiliki IPK cum laude memiliki sikap yang lebih baik; (v) mahasiswa yang keluarganya mendukung memiliki sikap yang lebih baik; (vi) mahasiswa yang orang tuany berprofesi selain guru memiliki sikap yang lebih baik; (vii) mahasiswa yang teman sebayanya cukup mendukung memiliki sikap yang lebih baik. ---------- This study based on the problem of many Economic Education graduated towards the teaching profession. The purpose of this study was to know about students attitudes to the teaching profession viewed from various academic periods, gender, learning outcomes, family environment, parents occupation, and peers. The method used descriptive. The population in this study is 342 people, by taking a sample of 320 people. Data collection technique applied was questionnaires. Data analysis technique performed with the descriptive statistical calculations: mean; median; mode; cross tabulation and test different. The results showed : (i) attitude of the students towards the teaching profession are in the category of a positive attitude; (ii) attitude the student of 2014 is better than the class of 2012, 2013 and 2015; (iii) attitude of students views of gender there is no difference in attitudes between male and female; (iv) who have a learning outcomes cum laude have a better attitude; (v) whose families support having a better attitude; (vi) student who parents profession than teachers have better attitudes; (vii) peers enough supports having a better attitude
