Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penerimaan diri pensiunan BUMN yang berusia dewasa madya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah empat pensiunan PLN Distribusi Jawa Barat dan Banten yang berusia 55-59 tahun (usia dewasa madya), yang berada di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara secara mendalam, guna menggali data yang lebih kaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa keempat subjek mampu untuk menerima diri, namun gambaran penerimaan diri setiap subjek berbeda-beda dan dipengaruhi faktor-faktor yang berbeda dalam membentuk penerimaan diri. Penerimaan diri subjek juga dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan subjek dalam menghadapi masa pensiun. Selain itu pemahaman diri sendiri dan dukungan sosial juga sangat berpengaruh pada penerimaan diri pensiunan. Kata kunci: Penerimaan diri, pensiunan, dewasa madya. This study aims to describe the state of self-acceptance middle adulthood retired. Subjects in this study were four retired PLN Distribution West Java and Banten were aged 55-59 years (middle adulthood), who are living in Bandung. The research was held in Bandung. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with case study design. Data were collected from in-depth interviews to explore more depth data. From this research found that the four subjects were able to accept themself, but the description of their self-acceptance in every subject is different and also influenced by different factors. Acceptance of the subject is also influenced by the readiness of the subject to face their retirement. Moreover self-understanding and social support is also influential to self-acceptance retired.
