Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman kesehatan reproduksi remaja tunagrahita di SLB-C Tut Wuri Handayani Kota Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah dua orang siswa SLB C Tut Wuri Handayani.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini yaitu wawancara dan observasi. Selanjutnya data dianalisis secara kualitatif, mulai dari mereduksi data, lalu menyajikan data dan kemudian menyimpulkan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman remaja tunagrahita terhadap kesehatan reproduksi yang diketahui dari kedua subjek penelitian, subjek yang pertama memiliki pemahaman yang rendah mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Sementara subjek kedua memiliki pemahaman yang cukup mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Hal tersebut terindikasi dari ketidakmampuan subjek pertama dalam menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan peneliti mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Sementara subjek kedua hampir dapat menjawab seluruh pertanyaan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Indikasi rendahnya pemahaman mengenai kesehatan reproduksi juga terlihat pada perbedaan sikap subjek pertama dan subjek kedua dalam menjalani hubungan pacaran, di mana subjek berperilaku lebih agresif dibandingkan subjek kedua. Penyebab rendahnya pemahaman remaja tunagrahita ini terhadap kesehatan reproduksi diakibatkan oleh kurangnya informasi dan pengetahuan yang mereka terima mengenai kesehatan reproduksi.---This research aims to determine the understanding of reproductive health of adolescent mental retardation in SLB-C Tut Wuri Handayani, Cimahi city. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The subject in this research are two students of SLB-C Tut Wuri Handayani. The informan of this research are parents and teacher of each subject. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews and observation.then the data were analyzedqualitatively, starting from reducing data and presenting data and then concluded. From the results of the research it can be concluded that the understanding of adolescent mental retardation on reproductive health is known from both subject of research the first subject has a low understanding of reproductive health. Mean while the second subject has a sufficient understanding of reproductive health.it is indicated from the inability of the first subject in answering questions raised by researcher about reproductive health, while the second subject can almost answer all questions about reproductive health. The indications of low understanding of reproductive health are also seen in the first subject and the second subject differences in courtship relationship, where the first subject is more aggressive than the second subject. The cause of the low understanding of adolescent mental retardation on reproductive health caused by lack of information and knowledge they received about reproductive health.
