Abstract

Belajar merupakan aktivitas manusia yang penting dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia. Keberhasilan proses pembelajaran tentunya akan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Motivasi merupakan salah satu faktornya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan gambaran motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampel 90 siswa berprestasi kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sukasari Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran motivasi belajar pada siswa berprestasi kelas VIII. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu berupa angket tertutup dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa berprestasi sudah memiliki motivasi belajar karena dorongan dari dirinya sendiri, yaitu berada pada kategori identification, integration, dan intrinsic. Penelitian ini menjadi rekomendasi alternatif layanan bimbingan dan konseling SMPN 1 Sukasari untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.---Learning is an important human activity and can not be separated from human life. The success of the learning process will certainly be influenced by various factors. Motivation is one of the factors .. This research was conducted with a sample of 90 students achievement class VIII SMPN 1 Sukasari Year Teaching 2017/2018. This study aims to describe the description of motivation to learn on students achieving grade VIII. The method used in this research is descriptive survey with quantitative approach. Instrument used in research that is in the form of closed questionnaire by using likert scale. The results of this study indicate that students have the achievement of motivation to learn because of encouragement from himself, which is in the category of identification, integrated, and intrinsic. This research became an alternative recommendation of guidance and counseling service of SMPN 1 Sukasari to improve student's learning motivation.
