Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran, setiap siswa memiliki kebutuhan personal individu dan karakteristik yang berbeda. Penyajian bahan ajar yang cenderung umum dapat menjadi faktor yang membuat siswa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Bagi siswa SMK, kemampuan motorik sangat diutamakan, namun kemampuan kognitif juga diperlukan untuk menjadi dasar pemahaman bagi siswa. Hal ini juga tidak mudah bagi guru untuk dapat menyesuaikan cara mengajar sesuai kebutuhan siswa yang berbeda-beda Penelitian ini menerapkan model pembelajaran Personalized Learning dengan berbantuan multimedia interaktif, yaitu model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan gaya belajar siswa. Penentuan gaya belajar dan penyajian bahan ajar ditentukan menggunakan instrument LSI (Learning Style Inventory) dari Kolb. Dengan menggunakan metode campuran dan desain one group pretest - posttesst hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa setelah melakukan pembelajaran, selain itu respon positif dari siswa atas penggunaan multimedia selama pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, model personalized learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif dapat menjadi alternatif dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.---In the learning process, each student has individual personal needs and different characteristics. Presentation of teaching materials that tend to be common can be a factor that makes students difficulty in learning. For SMK student, motor skills are highly preferred, but the cognitive ability is also needed to become a basic understanding for students. It is also not easy for teachers to be able to adjust the way of teaching according to the needs of different students. This study applies the model of learning Personalized Learning with interactive multimedia assistance, the learning model in accordance with the needs and learning styles of students. The determination of learning style and presentation of teaching materials was determined using LSI (Learning Style Inventory) instrument from Kolb. By using the mixed method and one group pretest-posttest design, the result of the research shows that there is an increase of students' cognitive learning outcomes after learning, besides positive response from students on the use of multimedia during learning. Thus, personalized learning model assisted by interactive multimedia can be a learning alternative to improve student learning outcomes.
