    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara health locus of control yang terdiri dari faktor internal serta external dan self alienation dengan life satisfaction pada 78 lansia yang tinggal di Panti Jompo Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analisis korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Multidimensional Health Locus of Control (MHLOC), General Alienation (GA), dan Satisfaction With Life (SWL). Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan teknik multiple correlation. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan hubungan antara health locus of control yang terdiri dari faktor internal serta external dan self alienation memiliki hubungan positif terhadap life satisfaction pada lansia yang tinggal di Panti Jompo Bandung.----This study was aimed to determine correlation between health locus of control which consists of internal and external factor and self alienation toward life satisfaction on elderly in nursing home with total 78 elderly people. This study used analysis correlation research design with quantitative approach. The instrument used in this study was Multidimensional Health Locus of Control (MHLOC), General Alienation (GA), and Satisfaction With Life (SWL). Data collected was analyzed by using multiple correlation analysis technique. The result showed that correlation between health locus of control which consists of internal and external factor, and self alienation give positive correlation toward life satisfaction on elderly who live in nursing home in Bandung.
