    Abstract

    This research described the meaning in life of a female teenager who had been suffering from leukemia through an experiential values she has been experiencing. This research used qualitative approach with phenomenology method. Data was collected by using in-depth interviews, and data analysis technique was open axial coding. The results of the research showed that the subject has the purpose and the meaning of life based on experiential values through her good, beautiful or true things. Furthermore, this research also found the motivating the subject to survive and struggle to fight the disease in achieving the purpose and meaning of life. ----
    Penelitian ini menggambarkan makna hidup seorang remaja puteri penderita Leukemia melalui nilai-nilai penghayatan yang dialaminya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam, dan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan open axial coding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek memiliki tujuan dan gambaran kebermaknaan hidup berdasarkan nilai-nilai pengalaman melalui hal-hal baik, indah atau benar. Selain itu, ditemukan juga hal-hal yang memotivasi subjek untuk tetap bertahan dan berjuang untuk melawan penyakit yang menyerangnya selama ini demi mencapai tujuan dan makna hidup yang diidealkannya.
