Abstract

The problem of mental retardation in children operation count which children quickyly forget, easy switch attention and to understand abstract things, so it requires an effort in improving the ability of the operation count sum to 10 through interactive multimedia "zaduckcount". This research aims to know the influence of the use of interactive multimedia "zaduckcount" against the upgrade operation to calculate the sums to 10 mild mental retardation in children in class III SLB C Terate. The methods used in this research is a single subject research (SSR) with the design of the A-B-A and use units of measure percentage. The subject in this study was a mild mental retardation child in class III SLB C Terate, who have yet to understand the operation count sums to 10. The results of this study showed that the presence of the influence of the use of interactive multimedia "zadukcount" against the upgrade operation to calculate the sums (concept, the concept of addition and do sums) to 10. It ison the baseline phase 1 (a-1) data the mean level of the subject obtained by 20%. On the intervention phase (B) data on the mean level of the subject gained 43.28%, whereas in the baseline phase 2 (A-2) data the mean level obtained the subject of 63.30%. Thus interactive multimedia "zaduckcount" can be used as one of the improvement in the ability of the operation to calculate the sums to 10.---- Masalah anak tunagrahita dalam operasi hitung dimana anak cepat lupa, mudah teralih perhatian dan susah memahami hal yang abstrak, sehingga memerlukan satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan sampai 10 melalui multimedia interaktif “zaduckcount”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan multimedia interaktif “zaduckcount” terhadap peningkatan kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan sampai 10 pada anak tunagrahita ringan kelas III di SLB C Terate. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A dan menggunakan satuan ukur persentase. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak tunagrahita ringan di kelas III SLB C Terate, yang belum memahami operasi hitung penjumlahan sampai 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan multimedia interaktif “zadukcount” terhadap peningkatan kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan (konsep angka, konsep penjumlahan dan melakukan penjumlahan) sampai 10. Hal tersebut pada fase baseline 1 (A-1) data mean level yang diperoleh subjek sebesar 20%. Pada fase intervensi (B) data mean level yang diperoleh subjek sebesar 43,28%, sedangkan pada fase baseline 2 (A-2) data mean level yang diperoleh subjek sebesar 63,30%. Dengan demikian multimedia interaktif “zaduckcount” dapat dijadikan salah satu peningkatan dalam kemampuan operasi hitung penjumlahan sampai 10.
