Abstract

Potensi wisata Indonesia sangatlah kaya dan beragam. Indonesia sudah dikenal sebagai negara yang religius. Salah satu tempat wisata yang bersejarah khususnya di Provinsi Jawa Barat Kabupaten Ciamis adalah Situ lengkong, wisata tersebut terkenal dengan wisata ziarahnya dan banyaknya para wisatawan yang datang untuk berziarah ke makam putra dari Raja borosngora yang menyebarkan agama islam di Panjalu. Para wisatawan itu memiliki motivasi sosial yang berbeda dalam berkunjung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran mengenai motivasi sosial wisatawan terhadap objek wisata situ lengkong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, studi literatur dan catatan (field notes). Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) motivasi wisatawan yaitu untuk mengharap keberkahan dan juga untuk berwisata (2) Respon wisatawan terhadap objek wisata situ lengkong yaitu membawa air sebagai keberkahan dan memiliki ketertarikan pada budaya dan ziarahnya.(3) pemanfatan yang dilakukan setelah mengunjungi situ lengkong panjalu yaitu membawa air situ lengkong untuk keberkahan wisatawan dan juga memberi pengetahuan baru tentang sejarah budaya dan ziarahnya.4.) Meningkatkan rasa kekeluragaan , dan kerja sama dalam kelompok sosial.;---Indonesia's tourism potential is very rich and diverse. Indonesia is already known as a religious country. One of the historical sights especially in West Java Province Ciamis district is Situ lengkong, the tour is famous for its pilgrimage tour and the many tourists who come to visit the grave of the son of King borosngora who spread the religion in Panjalu. The tourists have different social motivations in visiting. The purpose of this study is to get a picture of the social motivation of tourists to the attraction site lengkong. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach and data obtained through observation, in-depth interview, documentation study, literature study and note (field notes). The results of this study show that (1) the motivation of tourists is to expect the blessing and also for the tour (2) The response of tourists to the tourist attraction lengkong place is bringing water as a blessing and have an interest in culture and pilgrimage (3) done after visiting there panjalu that is carrying water situ lengkong for the blessings of tourists and also give new knowledge about cultural history. 4.) enchance the sense of kindship and cooperation in social groups.
