Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP. Juga untuk menganalisis pencapaian diposisi matematis siswa SMP baik secara keseluruhan maupun ditinjau dari kategori KAM* (tinggi, sedang, rendah). Dalam penelitian ini, subyek penelitian diambil dua kelas dari kelas VIII salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Garut sebagai subyek penelitian. Data kemampuan penalaran dan komunikasi matematis diperoleh melalui tes uraian yang diberikan melalui pretes dan postes. Data disposisi matematis diperoleh melalui angket skala disposisi matematis yang diberikan melalui posrespon.;---This study aimed at analysing the influence of contextual teaching and learning implementation in achieving and improving mathematical reasoning ability, mathematical communication ability of Junior High School student. And also in achieving mathematical dispotition of Junior High School student at whole and at MPA* category (high, medium, low). In this study, study’s subjects is taken from two classes are taken from eight grade in one of State Junior High School in Garut. The data of reasoning and communication mathematical abilities were gathered using essay test through pretest and postest. The data of mathematical disposition were collected by questionnaire through postresponse.
