Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan terhadap kompetensi kinerja tenaga pengasuh di taman penitipan anak melalui model in house training. Kompetensi tenaga pengasuh berdasarkan Standar Kompetensi Kinerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI) No. 197 tahun 2014 yang sudah menjadi acuan tenaga pengasuh dalam melakukan praktek pelayanan pengasuhan dilapangan, namun secara praktek unit- unit kompetensi ini masih belum dapat dikembangkan sesuai kebutuhannya dilapangan, sehingga terjadi ketidakmaksimalan dalam praktek pengasuhan yang dilakukannya. Untuk mengkaji bagaimana kompetensi kinerja tenaga pengasuh tersebut dikembangkan, maka sebuah tindakan berupa in house training dipakai untuk menjadi fasilitator bagi pengembangan kompetensi yang belum maksimal tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian collaborative action research¸ peneliti melakukan tindakan tersebut pada 13 orang tenaga pengasuh di TPA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI dan berkolaborasi dengan 4 orang narasumber. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara,dan juga studi dokumentasi, kemudian data dianalisa dengan menggunakan teknik thematic analysis. Hasil penelitian menyajikan temuan-temuan terkait kompetensi kinerja awal yang dimiliki tenaga pengasuh, langkah-langkah pelaksanaan model in house training dan kompetensi kinerja yang berkembang setelah in house training dilakukan. Simpulan menunjukkan bahwa tindakan model in house training dapat membantu terjadinya pengembangan kompetensi kinerja pada tenaga pengasuh di TPA terutama pada unit kompetensi yang mengacu pada pengembangan keterampilan dan etika kerja. Penggunaan model in house training direkomendasikan menjadi alternatif model pelatihan yang digunakan untuk menjadi fasilitator bagi pihak yang ingin mengembangkan kompetensi kinerja tenaga pengasuh pada lembaga yang dimilikinya. ;--- This research aims to examine the development of caregiver competency in the daycare through in-house training model. Competence of caregivers based on Indonesian National Performance Competency Standards (SKKNI) no. 197 year 2014 which has become the guidance of caregivers in carrying out the practice of care services in the field, but in practice these units of competence still cannot be developed according to the needs of the field, so there is not maximize in the practice of care. To examine how the competence of caregivers can be developed, an action in the form of in house training is used to become a facilitator for the development of competencies that have not been maximized. By using research method of collaborative action research, the researcher conducted the action on 13 caregivers at TPA Pilot Laboratory UPI. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and also documentation study, then data were analyzed by using thematic analysis technique. The results of the study present findings related to the initial competencies of the caregivers, the steps of implementation of in-house training model and the competence that developed after in-house training was conducted. The conclusions show that the in-house training model action can help the development of competence in caregivers in the TPA especially in the competency unit that refers to the development of skills and attitudes. The in-house training model is recommended to be an alternative training model that can be used as a facilitator for those who want to develop the competence of caregivers in their institutions
