Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi peserta didik SMK Kabupaten Cirebon. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah pendidik mengalami keterbatasan merancang model pembelajaran yang efektif. Maka, peneliti akan mengembangkan model problem based learning dengan pengolahan dan pemanfaatan informasi serta mengujicobakan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi. Tiga rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana rancangan model problem based learning dengan pengolahan dan pemanfaatan informasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi? (2) bagaimana pengembangan model problem based learning dengan pengolahan dan pemanfaatan informasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi? (3) bagaimana keefektifan model problem based learning dengan pengolahan dan pemanfaatan informasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis pada uji coba secara meluas, pengembangan model problem based learning dengan pengolahan dan pemanfaatan informasi efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi pada peserta didik kelas X SMK Kabupaten Cirebon. Hal ini tampak pada hasil uji statistik nonparametrik Wilxocon Matched Pairs di tiga sekolah yang menunjukkan sig. 0,00 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Produk akhir dari penelitian ini berupa model problem based learning dengan pengolahan dan pemanfaatan informasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi. Keberhasilan produk ini dapat dijadikan sebagai model pembelajaran alternatif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi karena mengaktifkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses belajar dan membantu peserta didik menemukan makna baru secara personal atau kelompok.;---This is research is motivated by the low of student exposition writing ability in cirebon vocational high school. One of the reason is student a limited ability to design an efective learning model.then, the reasercher will develop problem based learning model that organizing and utilizing information and test it out it's implication into writing learning in exposition text.three formulation problem in this reaserch are (1) how is the design of problem based learning model in writing learning of exposition text ? (2) how is the development problem based learning model with organization and utilatition of information in writing learning of exposition text model? (3) how is the efectivnesa of problem based learning model with organization and utilization of information in writing learning of exposition text? This research is used research and development method. Based on calculation hypothesis of the test widely, the developing problem based learning model that organizing and utilization effective information in writing learning exposition text to first grade of cirebon vocational high school. This seems evidently from the nonparametric statistical results of Wilcox on matched pairs in three schools is showing sig 0.00 is less than 0.05. The final product of this research is a problem based learning model with the processing and utilization of information in learning to write exposition text. The success of this product can be used as an alternative model of learning in writing exposition text due to enable the involvement of learners in the learning process and help learners find new meaning in personal or group.
